I remember this place being a lot better but the food wasn’t near as good tasting and was also ruined by lady who couldn’t even talk English or understand our order to get it correct. We asked about drink prices and she had no idea then sold us the most expensive kinds then refused to let us take our cheese dip to go because we wanted out of there ASAP. She ruined our special outing that was suppose to be celebrating intimately with my partner and dampened our whole night with the poor service. Then wouldn’t let us take our margarita’s to go when we wanted to leave (Which you can bring as on gas it’s not an opened container drinking out of and quite often done now days after Ovid especially) but what upset me is she wouldn’t take the 2 drinks we hadn’t touched yet because was drinking the others and only ordered before we got our horrible food to where we wanted to leave but she and the guy talked to refused to take it off our bill (Which the drinks over priced giving us smalls but charging us for larger when we asked for medium ) and we had to waste money and leave the drinks after downing the first one trying to rush to leave. Used to come here in high school and it was always good food and decent service. Came here today for the first time in years and everything was truly terrible. The lighting was super dim at 4p it almost looked closed while we stood in the lobby. There was no music, just complete silence with 7 customers total in the restaurant. It smelled like sewage off and on the entire time we were here. I still have no idea who our server was. Someone different came to the table at almost every visit. It took an hour and a half start to finish because everything took so long, even just getting the check. At one point someone told us they would be back with more chips and salsa and 15-20 minutes later someone else came out with the food- no chips and salsa. The food was okay at best. Combo prices $10-13 and not a lot of food on any plate. The chili con carne was a joke- there was no meat in it, just a thin broth with beans. 2 tables that got seated after mine got their food way before mine. 2 of my childrens plates came finally then 5 minutes later my other 2 childrens plates came & my husband's plate. I had to ask where my plate was and the server went and got the guy who took my order and he asked what was wrong. I simply said I'm missing my meal. I ordered the same exact thing as my husband did and he said he forget it. Then when he came to give me the check our food was like $36.09 then he said wait I forgot to add your meal and my bill jumped to $59.30. How the heck did an $11.50 meal make my total jump that high. The beef I honestly believe is not beef it was bland and soft and almost dissolved in mouth seemed completely not right. I scraped all the meat out of my meal just to try to eat it.
