I will caveat this review by saying I have been here before and had a great time, but this most recent visit I had was not pleasant. All the working bartenders were new and did not know how to make the menu drinks. I was expecting a little more for a place that charges a premium on mixed drinks. The most appalling thing, though, was the new bartenders kept touching their hair and face while making the drinks. And if that was not bad enough, when realizing a mistake was made with the drink, used their hand to pick out the incorrect ingredients and served the drink to the client! Sierra is the bartender, therapist, DJ, and part-time magician (I still don’t know how she made that cocktail disappear so fast). She somehow remembers everyone’s name and their drink order, even if you only told her in a whisper while sneezing.
At one point, I asked for something “refreshing and dangerous,” and she handed me a drink that made me text my ex and sign up for a salsa class. 10/10.
