It was our first time visiting, so Google sent us around and around until we finally figured out how to get there. Everyone was nice, and the food was delicious! We enjoyed sitting outside in the courtyard to enjoy our lunch. I had the Turkey BLT with avocado, my husband had the house salad with grilled chicken, and we shared a bowl of chicken poblano soup. Everything was great, including my pickles!

I had the Ruben, which was outstanding, and also had the broccoli, shrimp & goat cheese salad. The salad was so good that I had to come back and grab another for dinner as well as some cheese and crab stuffed mushrooms. This place is so fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is unique. I could honestly eat there daily. Everything from lunch to the ready to go meals, it's honestly perfect!

Almost walked right past it, but so glad we didn’t. The whimsical, flea market-chic decor was almost as fun and inviting as the Mom and daughter team that run the joint. Did I mention the food was really, REALLY good. Fresh, simple, well balanced ingredients for a clean, satisfying meal. Sorry I’m not a local who can enjoy this place more frequently.

My husband and I ventured out for lunch yesterday, looking for a really good sandwich. At the urging of my daughter, who works nearby, we decided to give Rae’s Kitchen a try. And boy are we glad we did!! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was cozy and the staff/owners were amazing. They offered suggestions, gave samples of the finest chicken and dumplings I’ve had since my grandmother was alive and banana pudding to die for. I had the Mallory Melt and my husband had the 1/2 turkey with avocado with a side of mushroom goat cheese soup-delicious!! We purchased some chicken and dumplings and a lemon bar to go, which made for an equally scrumptious dinner. We’ve eaten at a lot of local restaurants in Fairhope over the years, some good and some not so good, but this experience was definitely the most pleasurable we’ve ever experienced. We highly recommend a visit and hope you are treated to the same hospitality we were. And by the way, there is a huge deli case full of fully prepared meals too if you ever needed a quick and delicious take out meal. Thanks again to the staff for a wonderful visit, we will most...

Came here due to the great reviews. But was saddened by the food. The sandwiches which are their staple are sandwiches you could easily make at home for less than 1$. Every ingredient can be found at your local Publix. Nothing homemade. Just assembled. The side of chips was barely enough to fill a kids lunch pack bag of chips. The side of pickles were literally 2 slices of pickles. Not spears two slices. Sad. The bread which is usually the cornerstone of a great sandwich restaurant was typical store...

Wish this place was a normal good quality sandwich shop. All the items are purposefully eclectic without substance. With good ingredients, a simple roast beef on French bread is wonderful. However, I left hungry without ordering anything due to the menu, brought the to go menu to my wife and we agreed it's not quality but rather eccentricity. Creating a sandwich shop like we have on the West Coast out here would be an easy win...
