McDonald's — Restaurant in Fajardo

Waited 10 minutes to order in the DT when we did order it was two smoothies, one diet coke, one mcflurry, and one frappe. We get to the window and they hand us our smoothies, mcflurry and diet coke. I ask for a straws and spoon and they say no we will give them to you when the frappe is ready and to move forward. We wait 10 minutes nothing as the smoothies are now melted and the mcflurry is melted. I get out of the car and walk back to the window and ask where the frappe is, he just laughs. I said can we have our straws and spoon and he says not til the frappe is ready. I go back to the car wait ten more minutes and nothing, so return back to the window. The guy is just laughing and says ill make it now. He makes it and i said how about a refund for the other items that are now bad and the manager refuses to refund them unless we return the frappe as well. Im like no the frappe is the only thing.not ruined. They thought it was a big joke to make us wait...

I go there to enjoy my and use the wifi as well to touch base on my current requests via zoom and being a content creator on TikTok. Sometimes the boss is a little rude. She thinks I'm just hanging out there when in actually I'm getting things accomplished. I do apologize for having my volume a bit loud though. Never judge a book by it's cover, I'm not just hanging around. I've made several purchases while being in your nice establishment. You would've gotten 5 stars although how I was treated yesterday as well as this afternoon I was still nice enough to give you 4 stars because I do overstand what you're trying to accomplish as well with your wonderful staff. Every morning the wonderful lady who keeps the dining area clean is ever so pleasant and cordial. Marco and the other young lady in the jean skirt are always so very helpful and hard working. I'm personally from Arizona, and after Covid, our McDonald's went without a children's play place, however we still had the option to use either the self check-out kiosks or front desk service. At this location in Puerto Rico, they soley relied on the kiosks .. none of which were working. This was a bit frustrating for me, and when I had to ask for assistance, I had to explain to the staff the machines were not working in order for the them assist me. I did find it very cool that they still had a children's play place. In addition, it was a design I hadn't see before. But of course, if you're from the US like I am, I recommend each of the items PR has to offer that the US does not. For example, their Grilled Chicken Bacon Chedder and SPICY Chicken Nuggets. They are both soooo worth your time...
