Walking into this old school deli felt like stepping into a culinary time capsule – and what a delicious journey it was! From the moment I laid eyes on their homemade bread, I knew I was in for something special. The aroma alone was enough to make my mouth water in anticipation.
Their subs are nothing short of monumental. I mean, seriously, these things could feed a small army. Packed with a generous assortment of meats, cheeses, and fresh veggies, these subs are the epitome of indulgence. The combination of flavors, textures, and the unmistakable charm of their homemade bread elevated each bite to a level of pure delight.
What truly impressed me, though, were the prices. In an era where dining out can often come with a hefty price tag, this deli defies the norm by offering an abundance of deliciousness at very moderate prices. It's like they're keeping the tradition of hearty, satisfying meals alive without breaking the bank.
The warm, inviting atmosphere and friendly staff only added to the experience. It's a place where you can savor your meal, take a step back from the fast pace of life, and enjoy every bite at your own pace.
In a world that's constantly evolving, it's refreshing to find a deli that's steadfast in its commitment to quality, flavor, and value. If you're a fan of homemade bread, massive subs, and affordability, this deli is an absolute must-visit. It's a true gem that brings the nostalgia of old school delis to life with every...
Read moreI placed a pickup order for an Italian grinder toasted w/ lettuce tomatoe. I initially took 3 bites and noticed they forgot the lettuce & tomatoes. I drove around the block and went back inside to let them know. I was very kind and just wanted it to be replaced. In return, they stuffed lettuce tomatoes back into the original sandwich and proceeded to give it to me.
I was irate, Marzillis made this mistake not me. If your going to give me my original sandwich I should get that "Comped" at bare minimum. But I wasn't even asking for that though, I simply wanted a new sandwich the way I ordered it.
All and All, Marzillis is overrated, there meat/cold cuts are not at the same quality as others (boars head) and this is the second time they mishandled my order.
Grinder shops are hard to come by but I'm taking my services elsewhere when a company cares too much about cost of a sandwich vs customers experience; epic fail,...
Read moreUsually I call in and place an order for pickup. On the other end of the line is more often than not someone who had no idea how to take an order or throw on a customer service voice. The past few times I've ordered they've given me a time of 15 minutes until my order is ready when in reality I'll go in at least 40 minutes later and it isn't finished. This is fine if it takes longer - I don't mind ... Just don't tell me 15 minutes when you're obviously busy and it's going to be longer. It's an overall awkward experience everytime I call in and kind of dread it each time.
The food is good, but dealing with the employees, and overall customer service is making it hard to continue eating here, which is a shame because this has always been a favorite...
