Ordered 2 sandwiches and a soup to go - was told it would be about 20 minutes. Arrived to pick up the food and was told it would be a few more minutes and was asked if I wanted to pay so it would be all set, so I did. 15 minutes later (I’m still waiting). A few people who ordered after me (based on the order number). arrived. With those orders I saw many sandwiches as part of the order. I asked the waitress about my order and she said it’s coming. Another 10 minutes go by and still nothing. I tell the waitress what is going on and told their working on it. 5 minutes later I say I want a refund so I can leave. She went into the kitchen and came back saying they are working on it. 5 minutes later again I ask for a refund. I am then told that I can’t get a refund but they will credit my soup. I stated this was only acceptable if I was getting my food at that moment. They did finally give me my food an hour and fifteen minutes later. America is very very very crazy and disgusting costly here! I never understand Portuguese restaurant here in New England and Rhode Island. They are not AUTHENTIC AT ALL! THE TASTE ARE ABSOLUTELY KINDA DIFFERENT OR EVEN CLOSE! NOT GOOD ENOUGH. They are toooooooo expensive and they do not taste authentic food like in Portugal/Azores at all. And my gosh, beers and wines are expensive! In my local home town. A beer bottle or a mug glass cost 80 cent to 1.00 euro. And for wine glass. A big glass of wine is 60 cent or a bottle of wine is 2 euro. Very cheap. Disappointment. Never again go to any Portuguese restaurants in RI and Massachusetts ever again! Portuguese p eople...
Read more"I had an amazing dining experience at Twins Resturant! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with cozy lighting and tasteful decor that set the mood perfectly.
The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely knowledgeable about the menu, making helpful recommendations. For the main course, I had the Portuguese Steak Plate. It was beautifully presented and full of flavor. Every bite was an experience on its own, with fresh ingredients and a perfect blend of spices. "ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS "
The dessert was a treat as well – the Flan was light, flavorful, and a great finish to the meal. Portion sizes were generous, and everything was reasonably priced for the quality of food and service.
Overall, Twins Resturant exceeded my expectations, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable meal. I can’t wait to come back and try more...
