I recently stopped by Seoul Spice, and wow—what an incredible experience! Everything from the fresh ingredients to the bold flavors had me hooked from the first bite.
Let’s talk about the japchae—perfectly cooked sweet potato noodles with that slightly chewy texture, tossed in a savory, slightly sweet sauce that clings beautifully to the veggies. It’s the kind of comfort food you crave again and again.
I added dubu (tofu) as my protein, and it was spot-on: lightly crisped on the outside, tender on the inside, and soaking up flavor like a pro. But the real star? That GINGER-CARROT sauce. Bright, zesty, and with just the right amount of zing—it brought everything together and elevated the bowl to something special.
And oh, the veggies—crisp, colorful, and clearly fresh. From shredded carrots to pickled daikon and bean sprouts, every topping added texture and balance.
To wash it all down, I grabbed a can of Sac Sac Grape drink. If you’ve never had it, you’re missing out—juicy, fizzy, and full of real grape bits.
Seoul Spice is where freshness meets flavor, and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend if you want something delicious, fast, and full of personality!
But beyond the food, what really stood out were the workers. Every single team member was friendly, upbeat, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. They walked me through the menu with patience and great energy, and you could tell they take pride in what they do. It made the whole visit feel welcoming and warm.
Great food, great vibes, and even better people. Can’t...
Read moreIncredibly unprofessional young women. I left a tip, which the employees apparently thought was too low. The woman who helped me scoffed and rolled her eyes and the other who rang me up started laughing. Aside from that, (i) both women had their backs to the door and were on their phones when I arrived—I'm not sure they immediately knew I was even there, (ii) the one who helped me was polite but never said hello or offered the kind of service that would warrant a generous tip, (iii) the rice and glass noodles warmers were open when I arrived which meant my food was lukewarm—certainly a healthy code violation, (iv) to be clear, this is a fast casual restaurant which is not the kind of place any employee should expect generous tips. And a reminder, I did tip, admittedly small, but this is not a full service restaurant. To show disdain to a kindness because it's wasn't good enough for you shows a total lack of basic customer service and respect. Appalled that this kind of behavior is permitted among employees at...
Read moreBest experience ever! First time trying out this new location in West Falls Church, and we are definitely coming back on a regular basis. The food was fresh, flavorful, and so delicious. Tiffany, the General Manager, was the best! She was so friendly and helpful with the menu. Her interactions with her Team were so positive, and it was so nice to see everyone genuinely enjoy working there. They were pretty busy, but they got through the line quickly, and our entire family was so happy to discover a new...
