I’ve been a regular at this Starbucks for a little over a year, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best locations I’ve ever visited… at least when the manager isn’t present. Since he was hired about 7–8 months ago, the atmosphere has noticeably shifted. While I don’t know his name, his presence is consistently draining, both for the staff and for customers who pick up on the tension. He often addresses minor issues in front of customers and coworkers, which comes across as belittling rather than constructive. His demeanor rarely reflects positivity he seldom smiles and instead projects irritation or annoyance on a daily basis. Of course, everyone has difficult days, but when negativity becomes the default, it sets the tone for the entire environment. The irony is that the team itself is incredible!!! hardworking, upbeat, quick to fix mistakes, and always going out of their way to provide a great experience. Their energy and professionalism are what keep me coming back. Unfortunately, the manager’s behavior undermines that effort, overshadowing the great work his staff consistently delivers. If someone dislikes their job so much that it shows every day, perhaps it’s time for them to reconsider whether this is the right role. A team this good deserves leadership that uplifts, not leadership that wears them down!!! To the male manager at this location. Do better for your staff and your customers. they are what make your job possible. If you can’t simply show up with a smile for at-least half the day, projecting your issues is a pretty miserable...
Read more5 stars, especially for the service! Scott, Jeff (not sure of that is the correct spelling) and John (I think that’s his name!) He was working window yesterday and was phenomenal! The rest of the team seems great as well. I do try to stay away from the AM crowd as the afternoon & evening baristas seem a lot more friendly. They already know my husbands and my name and my order so sometimes I don’t even have to say anything and they literally make it exactly as I love it. Jeff even tried to run a food item out to our car that we forgot at the window. What a gem! You guys know my addiction for strawberry refreshers and thank you for not judging my intake 😂 I have the utmost respect for these baristas and even love getting notes on the cup. The drive thru is always speedy, online ordering is smooth, and friendly customer service in this economy?! Yes please! I’ll always be the biggest fan of this location. Also the ice is like pebble ice and I’m addicted to ice so that is another plus :) Thank ya’ll everyday for what you do and I hope everyone treats these baristas nicely! Thanks again, will be in very soon I’m assuming :) have the best day
Read moreI don't usually post reviews, but I felt compelled to say something after my experience today. I visit this store regularly and the staff always treat me well and are usually apologetic if they notice I have to wait. But today I was trying to get a little work done in the cafe and some woman I'd never seen before came in and was being weirdly harsh with the staff behind the counter. I got the impression she was also a Starbucks employee, but I've seen how hard they work and hearing her nit picking completely ruined my mood. If she's not an employee? WOW talk about entitled. Whoever you are (idk, woman in her late 30s to mid 40s I'd never seen before), maybe work on your delivery or at least leave a fat tip before causing them grief. Especially since Starbucks probably doesn't pay them enough as is. It left me wondering if you even know what it's like to be in their shoes. If that lady is going to be a regular fixture in the store, I don't think I'll be spending much time in the cafe again.
PS Alexa did a great job on my drink today and Liz and Chris always remember my name :) (wanted to make sure I ended on a positive note haha)
EDIT: I found out the woman was their district...
