McDonald's — Restaurant in Farmington Hills

10/4/22: Just want to update this review again because the quality of service from this McDonald's has hit a new low, again. Shortly after I sent my complaint on the McDonald's website last month, a (regional?) manager called me and personally apologized to me for what I have experienced. Just when I thought everything about this place was going to improve, I received another round of poor service today. I did not get my sweet and sour sauce despite the employee who handled the food to me mumbled that if my order includes the sauce, to which I answered yes. The cashier just casually dragged the credit card machine out and made me insert the card inside for them. Plus I waited another 15 min in line this time. I don't think I will return to this McDonald's until the upper management understands that this place needs some actual changes to work properly as a fast food restaurant.

Edit 9/1/22: It's been almost an year and sadly I have to change the rating from 2 stars to 1. Nothing has been improved for this McDonalds and the employees here are still as sloppy as ever. Today I waited over 15 min for my order and they got my mcnugget sauce wrong. Very horrible management and I will attempt to send a complaint to their HQ.

Update: Okay you can see my first review was pretty terrible. Lately though this McDonalds has stepped it up. I am very grateful for that because I have a sick family member and we have been relying on McDonalds for quick and easy food. The past 3 times we have ordered in the last couple of months the Quarter Pounders With Cheese were so delicious. They were very cheesy and well-cooked with no room for complaint. Thank you for taking any concerns seriously. If it keeps up we will keep going to this McDonalds as it is conveniently right near my house. I have pumped up the stars for this effort and I believe that when people improve they should be rewarded. Thank you closer McDonalds.

This is one of the worst McDonalds...stay away if you value not ending up with food poisoning. Tonight I received a completely raw Quarter Pounder with Cheese. I had two, one seemed okay, or at least I hope it was. The second one was completely raw and splitting the meat apart revealed red raw meat. Awhile back I received two raw Quarter Pounders with Cheese. They had messed up our order and given us someone elses order and when my Brother went back to complain, the smart aleck cooking decided to give us the big middle finger by making sure the meat was not cooked. The first time I ever visited this McDonalds it took about half an hour just to get a hot chocolate and a coffee. Service is horrible. I placed breakfast order through Doordash before the cutoff time. (I am also a Doordash Driver.) I received an email confirmation. The order should have been ready for the Driver to pickup. She arrived and they told her they were no longer serving breakfast. I tried calling them multiple times with NO answer. I asked her if she could go inside so I could speak to someone. Whoever FINALLY helped her (she stood waiting at the counter while they were all working at the drivethru) told her they didn't receive any order. They would NOT take the phone from her and talk to me. I thanked her for her time and told her I didn't want to hold her up any longer (it's taking away from her dashing time!). I again tried numerous times to call the restaurant to get an explanation with NO answer. I then contacted Doordash who had to try to contact the restaurant. They received NO answer. In the meantime two additional drivers were assigned the order because the prior drivers were unassigning themselves from the order. McDonald's never cancelled the order through Doordash. Doordash finally cancelled the order for me and issued my refund/credit. Either follow through with your Doordash orders McDonald's @ 35242 Grand River OR don't accept them! And answer your damned phone! I'll be sure not to order through your store anymore. There are at least three McDonald's to choose from in the area.
