Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Farmington

I went in today and had the pralines. I paid for it, took a lick and asked if I could trade it for a different flavor. It was funny tasting. The girl took it threw it away. I then was told I would have to pay for the new one by a girl name Casey (this is where the drama starts). I said I was only trading. She said there are no returns. I said if I have to pay for the other one then I’d like another one of those. She told me to get it out of the trash and eat that one! I was so appalled. I said I didn’t throw it away the other girl did. She proceeded to call me a liar and went to the trash to “show me I threw it away”. She was hostile when she saw it not there (since I didn’t throw it away and it was behind their counter trash). She came towards me very hostile and I told her to get away from me, out of my bubble. All this over a $2 ice cream. I spoke with the owner Heidi and she was extremely apologetic and offered a gift card that I declined and told her I was only calling so this woman (definitely not a lady) would be punished accordingly. I came in to purchase a quart of ice cream. I came here to review because I was just blown away by the respect I received from one of the workers, Damarius. As soon I walked in (it was busy), he immediately welcomed me in and addressed me as ma’am. I had his undivided attention without prompting. He convinced me to buy a second quart because I’d get a better deal. He repeatedly addressed me as ma’am, a mom in her 30’s!!!! I ordered my son’s birthday cake to be in “likeness” of a certain video game. I can not tell you how excited I was to pick it up and it was PERFECT!
