the place itself is cute, but the drinks are horrid. I had to get 2 drinks remade. The crème brûlée was so bitter. And I had it remade to a traditional taro which tasted like milk and ice. For the 2nd drink to taste that awful and me being at work I called over to let the owner know what happened. Over the phone she let me know I could get 2 free drinks and tokens. I come in the following day and I was told I could only get one drink and 2 coins only. I got another replacement drink and it was the sunset dream refresher thinking it might be better than the milk teas. It was not!.. it was overly sweet like syrup. It’s like they aren’t trained how to make the drinks right and they are all kids running the store. Also as if they are rushing the drinks. really wanted to like the place and for my first time coming here not a great experience… I won’t be coming back here and...
Read moreI will say that the service and atmosphere here are good. The staff are attentive and as quick to get your drinks to you as they can be, and the general layout reminds me of my times in Japan.

I keep sweetness level either normal or low, but no matter what, the drinks have all been flavorless or there's a weird aftertaste. They seem to not be mixed well to begin with (I suppose the colored layers are for presentation), but even mixing them with the straw doesn't do much for them. I am sad that Cha-Ahh! Milk Tea Cafe near the Entertainmart closed. Manilla Sunrise is about the best place left in town if you want a...
Read moreI ordered a brown sugar coffee and taro bao. I wasn't told the buns would take a while to heat until I had already been waiting with my drink for a few minutes and asked about them. Then they gave the buns to me too early and the taro was cold and crumbly inside. The boba in the coffee were also not cooked thoroughly and were a bit hard in the centers.
The other person in my party came in while I was waiting and was at the register to order, but the two staff were reading an online order at the front counter and ignored the person hoping to order in person. Luckily, this gave me time to taste my bao and tell my friend we should just leave.
On the plus side, it was very vibey and cute. I hope it was an off day, since the other...
