EntertainMART — Local services in Farmington

The store manager is a joke. If he has nothing to threaten you with he will avoid you. He has run trough the cafe to escape responsibility. The cafe is a disaster always so filthy and only one or two people out of the whole building actually work. Store manager has repeatedly said it’s not his job to deal with customers who have a complaint or suggestion. He tells someone what the job description is for the cafe then later on said he didn’t know what it is and sends you to talk to the cafe manager. I don’t see why the gross dirty guy in the cafe works there playing on his phone and oh yeah did I forget? He brings his phone into the bathroom and then comes back and sets it on the espresso machine. I’ve seen behind the counter and that’s just food poisoning waiting to happen. Always keep your receipt if you ever do get something. The muffins you can get a box of those at sams club for 4-5 bucks instead of the raised prices of 2.25 of one muffin to 2.50 to one muffin. The store is filthy and no one cleans. Don’t touch any of the tables because they allow people’s children to be changed on those white tables. There was a complaint and nothing was done about it. The counter wipe your hand on it and it’ll start turning black. I can’t wait to finish school and open up my own shop and be successful and I know I ain’t hiring these people except for...

I often feel like the staff is trying to punish me for shopping there... I’ve had a couple decent experiences but they are few and far between. Some staff members are just flat out rude, and the facility is not well kept (i.e. kinda dirty, very disorganized, and frankly just a mess in some areas). It’s like no one on staff wants to be there, and I gotta say I don’t want to be there either. It’s a shame there isn’t another book store in town to give me an alternative place to shop and maybe make Entertain-Mart up their game.

They do have fair prices and a pretty decent selection (hence the 2 stars), but it’s like Walmart in the sense that I’ll try to find what I need ANYWHERE ELSE before dragging myself through...

Good place to go to kill time if your early for a movie. This place is OK. It's the old hastings and it's trying to be like hastings but isn't quite there. It's not as well maintained so the people who complain about dirt aren't wrong. I wouldn't sit in the chairs or touch the tables in there. They are overpriced on the new stuff and their staff doesn't pay attention to how they package the used stuff for resale. (Xbox 360 controller labeled and priced as a playstation webcam for example) Their selection of old games is pretty vast so that's the place to go for classic games. Overall it's a decent place to browse novalty items and then go buy them online for a fraction...
