My husband and I have been to BWW in Farmington, NM 4 times since they opened. Our experiences are always the same at this location. We usually get in pretty quick since there's only 2 of us, but they tell us we can sit at the bar (there's only been one time there was 2 chairs together at the bar) and then mumble something about sitting at the "tall tables".
The one time we sat at the bar, we were ignored by the bartender for about 20 minutes. She wasn't doing anything except looking at what was in the cooler and making drinks for the men that were there alone. My husband finally asked her for a menu because there were none near us. We ordered (about 15 minutes later) and when someone else brought the food out, he had no clue where it went and the bartender acted like she had no idea. Horrible experience that day.
We went back again today after church, asked to be seated in the bar area and told the hostess that there were NO chairs together at the bar (my husband had already gone to check). She had us sit at a "tall table" and walked away. Problem #1-The table was wobbling back and forth, enough that when we got our drinks, they were spilling all over. Whatever. We drank enough out of the glasses that they wouldn't spill anymore. The server took our order. I ordered the Asian Zing Chicken Salad and my husband ordered a small boneless wing with the buffalo rub. 45 minutes later, no food and my husbands beer had been empty for about 10 minutes. The server comes over and asks if my husband wants another drink. My husband said he did and the server had to take his pen and pad out to write down another drink...He then walked tot he table next to us and took their order. They had already finished their appetizers and he was just now taking their order. I kept my eyes on the server to see if/when he was going to turn in my husbands drink. 10 minutes later he turned it in, went to the computer to enter the other tables order and tried to walk past us. My husband raised his empty glass and the server turned around and went back to the bar to get the drink.
After 51 minutes of waiting (since we ordered our food), the server came back with our food. The salad was okay, although I'm not sure there was ANY chicken in it, and the wings were actually not cold. I don't know why it took so long to make a salad and wings.
The issue with this BWW location is that there are NO distinguishable managers. ALL employees wear the same clothing so you can't tell if you're talking to a manager or not. There have been times we have had someone other than our server bring our food and they have no idea who got what and they just put it on the table. Other times we have had a server bring food that should have gone to another table. I don't know if they have sections or they rotate through servers but it's definitely an issue.
One other thing...why does every single employee look pissed off? No one smiles, no one is friendly until it comes time to pay...which is too late, in my opinion. When you walk in, you should be greeted with a smile and a "Hi! How are you doing?" Not "How many?"
I'd like to know who the managers are when I'm in there and customers definitely should be able to tell them apart from other employees.
We have been to other BWW and have NEVER had an issue with the service or food. The one in Farmington sucks. The employees AND management needs...

[OP] — I’ve never left a bad review; but this one needs to be left to serve as a warning to take your money and your time elsewhere. Visited on 4/15 @3pm. The moment we walked in should have served as a warning for what was about to happen. The hostess surfaced after a 4 minutes wait and had no welcoming demeanor; us patrons were simply an inconvenience apparently. When we suggested taking one of the many open booths, the hostess relayed that the booths weren’t available, needed to be cleaned, and another party waiting next to us also wanted a booth. We responded that we were happy to wait for a clean booth. I suppose we were halfway expecting any one of the numerous employees standing around (or even the hostess or responsible manager) would tend to the tables (which were already cleared and just needing wiped down). We were way wrong. I estimate it took 10 minutes for us to get seated. Our sitting down triggered a timer 12-minute waiting period until a member of our party asked a To Go counter employee if a waiter had been assigned to our booth. A waiter surfaced 3 minutes later ready to take our drink order and, since we were ready, took our meal order. We expected to wait for our meals since we ordered extra crispy wings, and we also ordered an appetizer. In the 27 minutes that followed, we received 3 of the 4 drinks we ordered, and never received the appetizer. We would have inquired about the missing drinks and appetizer had anyone visited our table during that time. Still, it was good conversation among our party, so we weren’t bent out of shape. I have never had a restaurant experience that involved such a wait by a seemingly disinterested staff and a total lack of managerial presence. No drink refills or napkins until we (again) approached the To Go counter to ask if our server was on a break. The experience left us wondering who could possibly be managing, or more accurately, mismanaging, this restaurant. When we were ready to check out, we simply reminded our waiter that we did not receive our appetizer, so the waiter could remove the item from our tab. About 3 minutes after that, it was comical that the appetizer was finally delivered to our table. Needless to say, we didn’t indulge and the item was removed from our bill. Shame on this establishment and the management here. This experience was all avoidable with simple managerial oversight or even a presence to gauge the number of empty drinks, the dirty tables, the disheveled bathrooms, or the crowd of patrons looking to cash out and leave. The real effect, on us anyway, is that we will simply vote with our feet and wallet and not visit another Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant for quite a while. It’s a matter of principal. This one store in a National chain has a real impact on the whole franchise, which is a shame. With proper oversight by corporate or fellow franchise partners holding others accountable, this location must be singled out and shuttered, or at least closed with a full re-training, starting appropriately with ownership and management. I should point out that I thought hard about giving a 2 or 3 star review; I just could not justify anything...
Read moreFor the last past 2-3 years on and off, i’ve been coming here to watch football. Today on. 09/14/2025 I got there early as usual to get my table, it started off good getting my drinks fill, talking with the managers and start watching some football. Out of nowhere the service stops. My son came in his mom and his little sister. We waited for a while while she asked me who’s the waitress. I said the skinny girl with curly hair, I didn’t catch her name. I continue to watch football. I told her there she is. We got her attention. She came over and she told us that she didn’t wanna wait on us because we don’t tip. She also mentioned that nobody wants to wait on us. So as we were solving out that issue another waitress came in the native girl and she told me hey it’s good to see you guys again it’s been a while so I called her over and talk with her and the manager. The manager also recognize us and said yes you guys have always been here. You come here early to watch your games. I just don’t understand why she would say that. So I said here is $10. Tell her thank you for serving us our drinks and we would like to change our waitress, but my family left because they were upset. I stayed to watch football. So be careful who serves you and stick with those servers. She had the audacity to tell me that I’m not a tipper. I know how the restaurant business works because I got family that work in the business. And not only that she’s was telling everyone else. The next table next to us heard all the commotion asked me what was going on and I told him. So he said the hell with us we are leaving. We don’t we don’t want service like this and they left. So as of today, I will not be going to this Buffalo Wild Wings ever again. And just looking at all the reviews I agree with a each and every one of them. No services, food comes out dry and hard, some rude waitresses, hands-down, the worst BWW ever. But nothing will ever be done. But I wish this place nothing but the best hopefully they learn customer service and to cook, right…. I wanted the other things I tip base on you customer service whether it’s good or bad...
