I was really excited to hear that HHC opened a location in Farmington. I used to drive all the way to the Lehi location just to get it, and I’ve always had a great experience there. Naturally, I had high expectations when I saw one closer to home. Unfortunately, this visit left me really disappointed.
The food was okay, but my order was far from correct. I didn’t get any sauce on my chicken strips, half of the $1 sauces I paid for were missing, and my lemonade wasn’t even filled all the way — it was maybe three-quarters full. I could’ve overlooked one small issue, but when it’s multiple mistakes in one order, it starts to feel like no one’s really paying attention.
I even tried calling the store afterward to see if they could make it right, but no one answered the phone — not even after multiple attempts. That was the most frustrating part. Mistakes happen, but at least give your customers a way to get in touch when they do.
Honestly, HHC in Lehi has always set the bar high with both food and service, and I really think the Farmington team could benefit from some of that same training and attention to detail. I’d love to see this location succeed because I was genuinely excited for it, but after this visit, I’ll probably continue making the drive to Lehi if I want the HHC experience I...
Read moreJust ate here tonight! We’ve eaten at the Lehi location in the past and were THRILLED that they were coming to Davis County. It’s super busy - which is great for them! I’m happy they seem to be doing well. Our kids loved their chicken nugget kids meals. My husband and I were disappointed with our original sandwiches. We’ve ordered original sandwiches when we ate in Lehi and it had ample Cole slaw on it, which is an awesome way to balance out the spiciness of the chicken. The menu also shows a sandwich bursting with Cole slaw. Our sandwiches didn’t even have enough Cole slaw to cover the whole piece of chicken. We asked if they could give us a little more since neither of our sandwiches had hardly any slaw on it and they brought us one 2oz cup of slaw to share. We just felt disappointed. At over $100 for us to eat there (including tip), we felt like they could have at least covered the chicken. Last time we were at chick-fil-a we ordered spicy chicken sandwiches and discussed how Houston’s takes it to the next level by putting slaw on their sandwiches. Really this is basically the same thing as a spicy chicken chick-fil-a sandwich with the scant slaw. Also bought a handful of cookies. Not super fresh, but our kids thought it was awesome how they looked like wheels. Still a fun...
Read moreMy wife and I went there yesterday Sunday afternoon and it was quite busy. We ordered 15 piece chicken tenders, Santa Fe Salad and one side of coleslaw. We ordered to go. We asked for medium heat thinking that this meant something along the lines of other vendors. We did not notice the scale at the top of the menu. Apparently they have redefined what the common interpretations of the scoville scale and how words like mild, medium and hot etc. are commonly understood. There is a point when food is so hot that it causes significant pain and no longer allows your tastebuds to work properly so you can't even taste the food. I understand that "Hot" is in the name and they do have a scale on the top of the menu. Our bad. They should include a warning such as a quick mention that their terms are different. Out food was so hot that it was uneatable and went in the trash. I really think they just screwed up our order. "Houston we have a problem." The fries included with the tenders were great and the coleslaw was good. In the end, we spent $37.56 for a medium fries and cup of cole slaw. Very disappointed as we ended up cooking dinner at home. We will not be...
