My first Habit experience at this location began my campaign... as I started telling everyone (especially my foodie buddies) about the unmatched service, quality, & customer first experience I had at that night with my friend visiting the US for the first time ever. I related the story on another site and felt it was amazing enough to give my first ever google review: I cannot believe what just happened. I have been taking my friend around Utah from Argentina. He told me that the fast food is okay but people treat him poorly only at these places... i told him he was eating at the wrong place. We went to a competitor of Habit and walked in with some of that food. I knew they could ask us to leave and we would have respected that. But instead they were more than a friendly. Not only were the nice they were confident that the things we brought in they did better. Then the manager stepped in and was over the top accommodating. He did things that just do not happen anywhere at any restaurant. Once Andres was finished treating us better than I have ever been treated at any restaurant (fast food or fine dining) .... This was started 2 months ago when my phone died mid-review. He then went to the back where he had his entire crew smiling and interacting with him as he helped them all. He then took his rounds through the restaurant and was engagingly looking after the needs of everyone. I was with his service and the infectious attitude he spread throughout his entire team. For over 10 years I have been involved in the restaurant industry, just a few cities north, so I completely understand the value of the solid personalities I have experienced at all the Habit locations I have visited Since this experience I have been back to multiple Habits. Just stopped by this FS local and they all have been stellar. I saw Andrés was working so I had to order that shake he was bragging about... it lived up...
Read moreHighly dysfunctional location. After waiting for an hour on a curbside order, I went inside and noticed a bunch of orders just sitting on the countertop. After going through the plastic bags and looking for the receipt, I realized one of the orders was mine. I saw the time on the receipt and realized it had been sitting on the counter for 45 minutes. The worker told me they couldn’t do curbside at the moment and acknowledged my food had been sitting there for 45 minutes.
Yes , you read that right - they decided they couldn’t do curbside, so they just left all of the curbside orders on the countertop and figured the curbside customers would eventually come in and get it. No communication at all. This happened to another guy while I was there as well. They didnt aplologize or anything, just acted like it wasn’t a big deal. Just gave me my cold, soggy food and that was it.
I understand the strain the labor shortage is having on the daily operations of the food industry - the place was busy and you could tell they’re understaffed. But to deliberately avoid communicating with curbside customers while being fully aware that curbside customers have no idea that your plan is to just leave their order on the counter and hope they just come inside eventually has nothing to do with the labor shortage. This is just inconsiderate customer service. Best to avoid...
Read moreIf I could give this place zero stars I would. I placed my to go order through the keyosk at the front of the restaurant. You are supposed to receive a text message when you food is ready. I never received one and the staff never called out order numbers or names when they put food on the pick up counter. The pick up counter was filling up with food bags so people were asking "what order is that"? The staff member at that counter never replied. I personally asked her about my order multiple times. The only thing I was told was "You'll get a text message". An hour and a half later, I asked the lady at the pick up counter, again, do you know when my order will be ready? She then points to a bag on the pick up counter and says "It's been ready for 45 mins". The bag had no receipt attached to it and she never called out a name or order number. I also never received a text message. I told her I was not going to eat cold food and asked her to remake my order. Another twenty mins later I had my food and drove home. If waiting for a to go over for two hours was not bad enough, when I got home, my order was wrong. I ended up throwing it away and cooking something else. I will NEVER go to this restaurant again and I highly encourage others to do the same (unless you are okay with waiting two hours...
