I was out shopping with my family when we decided to be spontaneous and pick a nearby restaurant to dine at. I was hesitant to pick this one at first because of the high rating with so few reviews, but after looking online, I chose to eat here anyway. I am so glad I did. The atmosphere here was great, and the cleanliness was spectacular. The bathroom was extremely clean. I’ll go over my order in a bit. First, my dad ate the shrimp & grits, and my mom ate the pappardelle with sausage & mushroom. My dad finished his, and my mom would have finished hers as well, but the portions are pretty big and she’s a small woman. She still liked it though, and so did my dad! I had a bite of both of their food, and it was delicious. The grits had an amazing kick and burst of flavor, and I usually hate grits. The noodles and sausage tasted so good. My mom said her pasta tasted fresh. I’m not sure if it actually is, but the taste must count for something.

However, the real star of the show (aside from the cuisine) was the service. Our waitress Paola (I hope I spelled that right) was the kindest woman ever, and we had a long discussion at the end of the meal about business and working in the digital world. She was amazing and attentive the entire meal, and helped us out with the menu when she learned it was our first time eating at Wildfin. As well, the bar manager and chef came over during the meal (individually) and checked up on us. It’s such a nice restaurant, one I never even planned on visiting. Amazing staff, atmosphere, and food.

Calamari: 9/10. This calamari was delicious! I wish more restaurants offered it with jalapeño and sauce like Wildfin does, because it added even more flavor to the starter. It was some amazing calamari, tasted super fresh and was nice and warm. They were cooked perfectly—super good overall.

Seafood Fettuccine: 10/10. When I say this is the best seafood fettuccine alfredo I’ve had, at least in a while, I’m not exaggerating. I don’t even like fish, so I didn’t expect to like this much. Plus, I’m a small person, and the portion was super big. Somehow, I finished this entire plate! It was delectable and creamy in every way, and the salmon—a fish I usually hate—was the most flavorful and delicious salmon that I’ve ever tasted. The pepper and spinach were also amazing and so soft. This was a very rich and filling seafood pasta that I’ll be thinking about for the next few weeks. Living in a landlocked state, you’re usually a bit suspicious of any seafood that you order. This was some of the best I’ve had in Utah though, and I used to live along the coast for over a decade, so I know what I’m talking about. So good. Order this if you’re a fellow seafood-lover like me.

Donuts: 9/10. These donuts were the epitome of warm and comforting. If the coziness of a cabin with a burning hearth was a dessert, it would undoubtedly be this one. The saccharine coating, the gentle heat of the donuts, the sweet sauce that coats it—this was such a good dessert, I closed my eyes while eating. My teeth feel rotted, but I think it was worth it.

Butterscotch Pudding Brûlée: 9/10. You can certainly taste the rum in the whipped cream, and it works perfectly. The sweet brittle and butterscotch custard really come together to make the perfect light yet sugary dessert. Great to end a meal with. Also goes nicely as a dollop on the...

#1. On a regular basis Wildfin is as good as any other restaurant at Station Park. This is more about the one-off experience I just had. #2. I’m new to Utah and have been to Wildfin one time before with no problems. #3. Managers on duty Friday night 8/30/24 at 8pm. I was a party of 5 with a dog under the name “Nava” and sat outside on the patio. Far east side, second table in. #4. Not here to publicly throw anyone under the bus but hopefully you have an idea of who our waitress could be. She needs a little more training.

My family is visiting from out of town. We like Wildfin because they are dog friendly. The waitress came out first to take our drink order as usual, I ordered an ice tea, the rest of the party ordered what they wanted. The waitress came back a few minutes later with their drinks and said to me they were all out of ice tea, so I ordered a “cherry” coke. I was brought a regular coke. At that point I didn’t care, whatever. For my entree I ordered the grilled ribeye sandwich with “no blue cheese.” - Weird, but the waitress came back again a few minutes later and said they were out of the ribeye sandwich. We all laughed a little because the same thing had just happened with the ice tea. Lol. I switched to the House Dinner Burger - again, “no blue cheese” and regular fries instead of their truffle fries it comes with. The burger came back, open face, WITH blue cheese AND truffle fries. I literally pointed at the blue cheese and said to the waitress, “it has blue cheese.” She assured me, “it’s NOT blue cheese, the cook called it “bla bla bla” something, but the cook assured me it’s not blue cheese” and left. - I took a bite, it was blue cheese. When she came back to check on us, I told her it was blue cheese and these are truffle fries and I ordered regular fries. Understanding the situation, she laughed and apologized and said, “I promise I put your order in the computer as you said, I promise.” But didn’t offer to correct it, whatever, I don’t hate blue cheese that much and kept the burger. Then I asked for a refill of “cherry coke” because she brought me a regular coke the first time. What I received was cherry syrup at the bottom of my cup and regular coke on top. Needless to say my first sip was straight syrup and I had to mix it myself. I yi yi, at that point I’m thinking, “this girl sucks” but again, whatever, I’m easy going knowing this is an anomaly. She didn’t offer any compensation for my horrible experience and laughed it off to try and lighten the situation. Every aspect of the “out to dinner” experience went wrong. She didn’t seem to mind. On a positive note, the other 4 people I was with had the correct order and the food tasted as it should and all said they liked what they got. I’m sure I would have like mine too if it came out as I ordered it. At least they honored a veteran discount and gave us 10% off. But nothing for my horrible experience. I’ll give them another chance eventually, but most likely we’ll be dinning at the other dog friendly restaurants at station park from now on. Be...

5 people in our party. Sat aside. Great weather with a good atmosphere to enjoy the area.

Appetizers came out. Calamari and the Corn Ribs were great. Got off to a good start.

Kids menu turned out the underwhelming. Not quite what I would have expected for this restaurant. Ended up letting my son order off the adult menu.

Of the 4 adults in the party, we ordered a filet and sole entree, sole entree by itself, ahi tuna entree, and a wildfire burger dinner meal. This is where we get into mixed thoughts on the meal.

First, the Ahi Tuna went over very well. Great entree all the way around. Good flavor and cooked perfectly.

The other three were borderline return, which the server did offer but in the end we decided to skip it. The Wildfire Burger meal had a decent flavor but was very greasy, maybe oily is a better term. Napkins were definitely necessary but once you pick it up you cant put it down. Not because it was good, but because the plate was full of more stickiness due to the oil.

The Sole fish had a mixed review. Those of us who tried it were split on the butter cream sauce. Half of us liked it, the other half did not. However, none of us liked the breading with seeds that was on the Sole. In the end, we scrapped the breading off to enjoy the fish. The Sole by itself came with a risotto. After trying it, we all agreed we could do without it.

The filet with the Sole was just wrong. Comments about the Sole aside since we already talked about the fish, Ill focus on the filet. Or perhaps in this case, filet is not a good term. 2 blobs of meat would be better. It was actually some of the worst filet I have ever had. So bad that after trying some, and trying to have others sample it, we left it untouched on the plate. For those that come here, I cant stress how much I would recommend you avoid the filet.

As mentioned earlier, our experience was mixed. Good ambiance, but food wise it was a...

Top notch restaurant I didn’t expect to find in Farmington. The atmosphere was vibrant yet relaxing with murals and rustic antiques for decor. Our waiter, Tanner, was very informative answering questions, giving recommendations, and allowing special requests. My daughter loves shrimp and they let her swap shrimp instead of fish for the fish and chips. Made her night. He kept us well taken care of and even comped a dessert for my father’s birthday. All the food was top notch for the price point. Aged ribeye had robust flavor. Chowder was chuck full of a variety of seafood. Blackened ahi was fresh. Crispy rice was packed with flavor. This is the type of place you go to for high quality seafood. You can taste the wild caught umami flavor in every bite. They use several local businesses and farms to source ingredients from making the quality and experience even better.
