I was trying to teach my daughter some independence this morning with going in and ordering her (and her friend) drinks, paying and waiting for them. I was out in the parking lot, parked where I could see in the store and the drive through. The drive through cleared out 2x while I sat there. The "dining" room also cleared out a few times while I watched. Meaning-patrons after my daughter and her friend had ordered, paid and received their drinks and these two girls are still standing around, waiting to get theirs. We were there 30 mins before school-plenty of time. When my daughter asked how much longer she was told 5 more mins. The problem with that was these girls would be late to school so we left. My daughter wanted to spend her hard earned money on a treat for her and her friend. Money she earned by shoveling horse poop. A read job....not just spending parents money. I don't know if its lack of training for the employees or these two girls order was just "forgotten". You would think they would have noticed these girls and started asking questions. Those employees could have done better. The kids should be treated as an adult is treated in your establishment. I guarantee, if I was standing in the store with them, this would not...
Read moreFor 1.5 years I've frequented this starbucks almost every weekend. I work outside at the mall and this was my go to for some warm banana bread and hot chocolate during the cold winter months. And during the hot months I would go and get a large water with ice. Because the ice and having a lid with a straw it was an ideal place to get water to drink while I worked. Often times I would get a little treat to go with my water. But also there was times I just wanted ice water while I worked. The times I only got water, which I would have been happy to pay for but Starbucks doesn't charge for water, I would be sure to put a dollar in their tip jar. On June 3rd in the evening I went to get my usual water, I also decided to try a croissant. I went up to the window and gave them the money. The window was left open and that's when I heard one of the workers say rather loudly "At least he bought something this time." with a somewhat snarky tone. Then the worker who took my money returned with my water and treat. I said thank you and I drove off, for the last time. I won't be returning to that Starbucks sadly. If filling up a cup of ice water for a regular customer and getting tipped for it is beneath them then I guess I'll spend my...
Read moreSo this location is ok. I frequent about 5 locations between Layton and Sandy because I'm often driving between them and always down for some Starbucks. The Farmington Station location would be the 6th location and my most visited (closest to my house) if they could get their stuff together.
Often their espresso is off, tasting bitter and burnt. Not sure how that happens with a fully automated espresso machine, but it happens at this location frequently. In addition, their service is hit and miss depending on who's working.
They have a couple of gals there who are phenomenal in their service, in their demeanor, and in the way they put the drinks together. Everyone else is just, meh. Seems like they are there to punch the clock and get out.
Today was the first time I've visited this location in a while, and they got the espresso right, but my drink was cold. My wife's was perfect, but mine was cold. Disappointed again, unfortunately. It is still Starbucks, but I have such a better experience at the other 5 locations, I'll keep going out of my way to hit those, and let...
