Best chicken sandwich hands down in Northern Utah; probably in the whole state. For context, I didn't eat lunch and spent all day at Lagoon, absolutely PARCHED🥵 its nearly 90º outside, and I'm sweating my balls off. I walk in, and it's not too busy, but not too empty. That's exactly what you like yo see. Cool air hits my forehead, and I know I'm about to get some good service. I order what I always get; spicy deluxe combo with a powerade. The cashier was the nicest asian lady ever!(you'll see why) So, I go sit down and my buddy starts ordering. Not even joking, like 2 seconds after he sits down, they bring me my food. Less than a minute is exeptional! Buttt, they got my sandwich wrong. I'm afraid I can't give a perfect score. However, the cashier realizes before I even get up and comes to me. She said she'll get me the right sandwich and let me keep this one. Undisputed service game 💯 Last thing, as we were leaving, the manager SPRINTS out the door waving down a car for some reason. I assume they forgot their card in the window, but wow! I almost forgot, the food was amazing! Soft bun, crispy lettuce, juicy tomato, warm chicken, slightly melted cheese. They all complemented each other so well. If I'm being picky, I'd prefer the cheese bubbling-nah just kidding it was amazing 😆 super juicy chicken, and veggies were fresh. Fries were just right, not to salty and just the right amount. One more thing, order the deluxe version of any sandwich. It's worth the extra 1 or 2 dollars. To summarize, i received a refreshing powerade(refill included), crispy fries, 2 sandwhiches, and 3 ranch all for 11$ talk about a deal! Of course, dont expect 2 sandwiches. But, you will be satisfied. All the employees were super nice and welcoming. The only very minor complaint I had to give was that the floor was a little messy. Can't blame them, though. They are always busy. Service-11/10 (really can't get better) Taste-9.8/10 Atmosphere-9.5/10 Price-9.0/10 Speed-10/10 Portions-9.4/10 Cleaniness-7.9/10 Crowded-8.0/10(not that crowded) Overall-97/💯 (I had to edit this 5 times because i kept...
Read moreI've never been to a Chick-fil-A like this one. Everyone is very nice there, but the service is EXTREMELY slow. We waited 35 minutes for nuggets. The workers didn't let us know it would take long. In fact we had no communication from the staff that wasn't initiated by us. Again, they were very pleasant, just not very customer-service oriented. The lobby was full of hungry people not getting any food or explanations. A simple heads up that they're behind or running out of something would have made a world of difference. Instead they acted like ignoring the issues would make them go away. Ignoring it made the situation worse.
On this particular visit I didn't see a single person over the age of 20 (best guess). My sister in law, who obsesses over C-f-A has gone here several times and said she just plans on it taking over an hour. Her kids play while they wait sometimes as long as 45 minutes for food. She said my experience is pretty typical of this location. I emailed their management team about it, but heard nothing back.
Oh...once we finally got our food, we had to switch from dine-in to to-go since we had somewhere to be. The kid packing our bag dumped the fries from the box into the bag. Then he just set the box on top of the bagged food. Then rather than fixing it, he simply looked up at me sheepishly as if to say 'sorry it slipped'. I was incredulous, but at that point of the process, nothing could surprise me.
The taste of the food was excellent--5 stars--as one would expect from C-f-A. But the service was terrible (none of the stars...maybe one for everyone on staff being obliviously pleasant throughout). My recommendation is to do what my sister in law does...only go here if you have a...
Read moreVery Disappointing Experience at Drive-Thru,
Dear Chick-fil-A Team I’m writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at your location this evening. I chose the left lane of the drive-thru and found myself stuck behind one car, while approximately ten cars passed through the right lane. I got out of my vehicle to see what the issue was and learned that the employee in the left lane either had a malfunctioning iPad or wasn’t trained on how to use it. Despite three employees being present—two in the right lane and one in the left (a training manager)—no one stepped in to assist the left lane. The training manager should have tool over. I asked the training manager if I could back my car out or walk over to place my order in the right lane, and both requests were denied. As a result, I was stuck behind the same car for over 25 minutes, unable to move or place my order. When I finally reached the window, I asked to speak with another manager (Mitchell), and while he admitted they could have done things differently, he offered no meaningful solution or apology. To make matters worse, my order was incorrect: No straw, No Chick-fil-A sauce,, No ice in my unsweetened iced tea and the chicken tenders were soggy and gross. What’s most frustrating is I’ve always counted on Chick-fil-A for excellent customer service—that’s what keeps me coming back. This experience, however, was a complete departure from the high standards I’ve come to expect. I hope this feedback helps your team take a closer look at training and decision-making during peak hours, especially in handling equipment issues and customer traffic in the...
