4/6/24: Have been back several times. Overall the food is good but remember this isn't a Chinese restaurant - it is Asian Fusion and they put their own twist on most of the dishes. Kung Pao chicken and General Tso chicken will seem very familiar to those looking for traditional Chinese American. Well worth a visit. Egg rolls excellent, made here I think. Spring rolls not so good. I think frozen Shamrock product. They always turn to mush inside because of being frozen. Wish they would put a good Bun Pho Bowl on the menu...
3/9/24: New Asian fusion restaurant finally open. Extensive menu. They are still getting things worked out so service was a little slow (pretty busy at 6:30pm Saturday) Excellent egg rolls, good won ton soup. Grilled chicken salad is not the sort of thing I usually order but it looked interesting and provided an interesting mixture of tastes. The ginger flavored salad dressing had only the slightest hint of ginger. Wok glazed chicken had good ingredients but IMO could use more flavorful seasoning. Tried the firecracker shrimp - not at all what I expected. Huge portion huge shrimp. My first impression was " shrimp with mac and cheese sauce". Was supposed to be hot according to the menu but it had only the slightest hint of heat in the otherwise kind of tasteless sauce which was probably not cheese at all, maybe some mild flavored yellow curry. I probably won't try that one again, but others may well like it. Looking forward to trying one of the Chinese standards from the menu soon. All in all very good for a place that is just starting out in Farmington. They are...
Read moreWe have been here twice so far!
Food both times have just been SO good!!! There are the well known selections and there are some good, new selections compared to local places. My husband got a grilled mango stir fry and it was so good! The sushi is amazing! And I tried their Japanese bento box - I think it’s my favorite! The mochi is fresh and also amazing! Prices are reasonable!
We first tried it on day 3 of opening. They were definitively stressed and very busy- so everything was delayed and there were misunderstandings. (Understandable) We went back recently and it was much less busy. Service was much better! We had the same waiter both times and while there was improvement, it’s obvious he doesn’t speak English well and it makes it hard to communicate and get what you want.
All in all- I’m excited to have this place on the East...
Read moreThe food was pretty good, you could taste the wok hay in the dishes. Their menu has a wide variety to choose from. The staff is friendly and the restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere to it. There 2 small things I think could have been better with the food. The sauces are a little too sweet and the spicy dishes were lacking in heat. Other than that I will definitely be visiting more often, to try other items on the menu.
Edit: I tried this place again with a friend and it seems like they did tone the sweetness down on their sauces now and everything was great, live the sushi here as well. The rice they serve is great, made a comment about how I liked it and the staff Dave me the name if the brand they use. They are all very friendly and great...
