Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Farragut

I had my first scooters experience this morning (only missed being customer # 1 by the narrowest of margins thanks to Dan Henson) wanted to share my honest review coming from someone that has spent the last 3+ years in coffee!

My order: Peanut Butter Power shake + 2 shots of espresso + protein. Blueberry muffin. Spicy sausage burrito

Coffee: the shake was PHENOMENAL. Blended drinks are one of the hardest drinks to get right in the coffee world and they CRUSHED IT!! Perfectly balanced drink where both the coffee and peanut butter really stood out. Tastes like desert - was actually incredibly healthy. 10/10

Food: There is not a single burrito you’re going to get that fast that tastes that good. Period. Delicious. Muffin was exactly what I was looking for. 9/10 because the burrito was premade. Still tasted delicious. Had it in 2 minutes. Bite me.

Speed: this is where they dominate the game. My order was placed at 6:03 am and I had paid and gotten my entire order by 6:05. If you are busy, there is absolutely zero reason to wait on coffee… just go to scooters. They’ve got you covered. 12/10

Friendliness: 10/10. They bring their own weather people! At 6 am , they’re livelier and kinder than I am at any point of any day!

This was my first trip to scooters and it was awful! I drove through for a cold brew woth cream, ordered right off the menu with no special instructions along with 2 cake pops. I have to say the cake pop is huge, beautifully packaged and well worth it! The cold brew however was unlike anything I have ever ordered before- watered down and having no coffee flavor at all (very reminiscent of when you try to salvage this mornings old coffee as I've coffee at home- but worse). I went back around and told the gentleman in the speaker that the cold brew seemed super watery and lacked coffee taste and I would appreciate if I could just get a hot cup of coffee. He apologized, said certainly and told me to drive up. When I got to the window, the young lady boldly said, "we use cold brew concentrate so it's watery if you're not used to that," and then asked for payment for my new hot coffee (which was also stale and undesirable and I'm pretty satisfied with any plain cup of coffee). It felt a lot like Starbucks to be out $13 except I didn't get to...

Place has a weird rule about cash where they don’t take any bills over 20$, but they don’t have any signs advertise it so you can get stuck in the super slow drive threw just to get sent back to work with no food on your break. Honestly they lines are slow, food is mediocre and if you have cash then you can buzz off since apparently they don’t make enough money to give you change. It must suck to work at this place, I don’t even know the name of the people that have served me the last couple time but this place sucks so bad I dislike them 😂.
