Iām hoping that theyāre still adjusting to finding their footing. I did a take-out order for lunch today for 3 sandwiches. I remember Fat Salās sandwiches being absolutely huge and thick enough to put anyone into a food coma. These were underwhelming on size. I had ordered the Fat Sal (minus fries, which Iāve done before at other locations) and the Philly Cheesesteak for my coworker. I also ordered an Italian sandwich which Iām saving for dinner. The Fat Sal had only 1 sploosh of gravy, which ended up being on my last 2 bites. I think there also must have been only 1 onion ring on the whole sandwich because there was only 1 ālineā of onion in the entire thing. The only things that had flavor was the mayo and the bread. Everything else just tasted āsaltyā. My office had hyped up the size of the sandwiches to my coworker, but she too was disappointed at the size of her Philly (but she was happy with the taste). I got the Italiano home, and man, it was depressing. The flavor was āokā, but again, minimal everything. I needed to add additional dressing onto it because it was so dry. You can get a much better deal at other chain sandwich shops. We're hoping that giving them some time, and maybe eating there rather than a to-go order, might improve the circumstances. Iām hoping this doesnāt turn into...

Iāve been to this Fat Salās location in Culver City twice, and both times it delivered on what I wanted - a tasty, slightly greasy sandwich. I liked the Double Smash Burger a lot, but I thought the Cheesesteak was meh. I had both the seasoned fries and the regular fries, and neither had any taste. But the mozzarella sticks were great. I should add that I was completely sober when I ate both meals, and I suspect that if youāre high and itās after midnight, this food is probably amazing! Finally, a lot of the reviews here are related to prices rather than the food itself. I agree that itās a little expensive when compared to In-N-Out and McDonaldās. But Fat Salās prices are more similar to Five Guys, and thatās probably the...

Many of the recent negative reviews are fakeāposted by followers of an influencer who didnāt get his way and asked his fans to trash this place for no reason. The staff couldnāt do anything about it, and unfortunately, Google hasnāt removed them.
