301 Wingz — Restaurant in Fayetteville

Restaurant was extremely busy, it was on a Friday night. There is not a lot of organization in this place. The wait staff barely knows the menu when asked about meals. Light bulb was out in the dark corner they had us in. It was extremely cold inside colder than outside. Male staff walks in dining area with pants sagging down like he was hanging with his homeys. Meal was delivered without the side of BBQ sauce as requested when ordering meal, by the time the waitress came back with it after asking another waitress for the condiment I was done eating my meal. Cole slaw was bland and had no appeal. Ribs were fatty and I could see why they were the Friday night special - anything to get them sold. The BBQ sauce was syrupy sweet. French fries were overly salted. Waited an additional 20 minutes just for the receipt. Never offered option to purchase dessert after the meal - not like I would have after the horrible experience with the meal. Went to pay at the front counter - did not want to have to wait any further for waitress to perform the service. I had taken half my meal to go - waitress never offered a bag and when I asked for a bag she just handed me the bag and could not be courteous enough to put my container in the bag. A second waitress had to put it in the bag for me. Appearances from the kitchen was greasy, unkept,needed cleaning, disorganized. People’s food was sitting waiting to be delivered because waitress couldn’t remember which table it belonged too. This place needs a serious makeover and...

This is only about this experience but it’s my last experience with 301 Wingz…. Wish I could get my tip back just for g-p…

I ordered Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parmesan, and Teriyaki wings… I pick them up get home and the Lemon Pepper while seasoned, they don’t taste ANYTHING like Lemon Pepper… bland even. A few people taste them and agree they don’t taste right. I call 301 and they ask my name and tell me to stop in and pick up a comp order next time just give my name. I say cool. My son is heading this way (Im about a 15-20 minute ride away) so I ask him to pick up the comp on his way. I call 301 and tell them my son is going to pick up the wings for me and describe him and they say okay. A few minutes later I get a call from the manager saying they can’t comp the wings unless I return the bland wings. When I reiterated that wasn’t said during the initial call and how far away I am, she said it was the owners policy but unless my son had the bland wings they wouldn’t honor the comp. Well while we’ve gotten our wings from 301 quite a few times I can no longer do business with them thinking I’m trying to beat them out of “10”wings. I’ll never have someone stop and get 301 Wings on the way out here to the house again and damn sure won’t darken their doorway ever again. Manager seemed fine when I relayed that to her so now I guess we’re both satisfied. Keep your bland Lemon Peppers and poor customer relations....

Best wings and best wing restaurant value in Fayetteville, hands down. It's so nice to have it on the east side of town too!

Our family eats here regularly. The fried zucchini appetizer is really good. So are the loaded cheese fries. Dip them in the homemade ranch (best ranch dressing I've ever had, anywhere) and the fries are even better.

The wings and tenders are always served hot and fresh (and completely delicious!), along with the best fresh-cut french fries in Fayetteville. Their wing flavors are delicious, whether on the chicken, or as a dipping sauce. The service is always great too.

The building could use some work, but it's OK as is to me, especially if the huge cost of remodeling were to result in prices similar to the massively over-priced and over-hyped wild wing chain restaurant in Fayetteville. Our family of four can eat at 301 Wingz for roughly 30-percent less than the cost at that chain wing place. But if 301 could remodel and keep their prices the same, I think they would have lines out the door constantly at lunch and dinner. The way their business seems to be increasing lately, they may have lines out the door before long anyway.

We will be back again and again -- 301 Wingz is great! In fact, we're heading out for lunch...
