Rockfish Seafood Smoke Pit & Bar — Restaurant in Fayetteville

Stopped in today to try this New Downtown restaurant. Upon entering was greeted by staff which was very welcoming. The owner was on site helping with a large catering which he also made sure to come out and introduced himself. They have a great interior which was clean and inviting. I like that the menu wasn't overwhelming as some places are. It was easy to decide what I wanted to eat. I selected the Catfish Plate with added Shrimp. The owner asked me if I wanted to try the ribs which I said Yes! Everything was made to order and came out in a timely fashion. Oh my!! The Fried Fish & Chips were perfectly seasoned and the hush puppies were great as well. Nothing was overly salty or overdone + had a good taste. Now when these ribs hit the table they didn't stand a chance. You could taste the smoked flavor I love that they were cooked well and weren't just falling off the bone. Their Portion sizes are enough for the family. I noticed they also sell Fresh Fish by the pound. For the large catering they were doing 25+ Rib slabs. All in all make sure y'all support this great Downtown establishment it was worth the trip.

I was feeling hungry and decided to treat myself to some seafood. I ordered two takeout plates: a flounder plate, and a flounder combo plate with shrimp. I couldn't wait to get home and dig in. When I opened the boxes, I was amazed by how fresh and crispy everything looked. The flounder was golden and flaky, the shrimp was plump and juicy, and the fries were crunchy and seasoned. I took a bite and it was heaven. The fish melted in my mouth, the shrimp was tender and flavorful, and the fries were the perfect complement. It was awesome, awesome, and delicious. Great lil' fish house in Raeford, NC. Fish is always fresh 🐟 and fish are a nice size "But" Of course you can choose your own according to the size. If your going to fry some shrimp 🍤 maaaaaan, those little things were hectic to clean (My first time getting those)... NO MORE! I would have been better off getting the frozen battered shrimp. You live, you learn to learn... Get it 🤔 My first shrimp from there was huge 😋 very meaty. The lil' tiny ones they should have left in the water 💧 to finish their growing 😄 😁 😂 maybe good for salads though 🤔 your choice! Anyway, enjoy your fish fry or seafood broil😉 And of course...
