Cons: 1. Paid parking, and it's hard to find a spot, and that was on a week day before the dinner rush. 2. The music was so loud, thus making conversation kind of difficult. 3. We were seated up front, so we staid cold due to the draft from the door opening with customers. Even with the cons, we would most definitely eat here again! The food was amazing, and my daughter, 6, and slightly picky best friend enjoyed their food. My daughter cleared her plate and tomato soup. I got the Bries Company, and my only complaint about it was that I felt that the apple slices could have been a little thicker. They got kind of lost in the rest of the sandwich. I also got the Crawfish Bisque with my meal. It was very good, and the crawfish ratio was balanced, although my brother had it as well, and he said his didn't have enough (maybe I got his, ha!). It had a moderate heat to it, but nothing too spicy. We got dessert, which we usually don't do, and we were NOT disappointed!! If you are debating about dessert, just get it and share, or don't because you won't want to after the first bite!

Wonderful patio for dining. The birds in the trees overhead were magical. They did have to compete with some heavy traffic noise too but being right in the heart of downtown it's expected. The wait time as average. Our server was friendly and gave us the time we needed to look things over. The entrees were very reasonably priced at about $12 a dish. The sandwiches are served with chips and a pickle instead of fries so we did have to order fries as an appetizer, but without drinks the total was under $35. All the food was very good...very rich and flavorful. I had the fried artichokes, my friend had one of the sandwiches that had pulled pork. We shared the bacon Gouda fries. My only critique was both the fries and artichokes needed a splash of acid to really complete the dish. Asking for a wedge of lemon with the artichokes was the money move - so good. They should serve it that way all the time. And the fries just needed a spritz of lime. Overall very very good. I will for sure go back to try a sandwich or dog, the sausages looked delicious also. We will go back for sure!

First time here and taken back by the pay to park lot as I rarely see them unless it's someplace like Chicago even though it's not 50 cents for 1 hour. The pay booth says the minimum is $1.00 to pay so you have 2 hours there. Anyway, the food was great as a friend and I went here for lunch after going to the VA. I had the el chupacabra which wasn't hot. Hot in terms of peppers and not hot as in warm food as the food was warm and tasty. With it I had a cup of French Onion soup which the broth works with the chips you may have to absorb it and not waste it. Here's a photo of the sandwich with the chips I had already in the broth as I had the main part of the soup before. I didn't take a photo of what my friend ordered. We only chose water as a drink. The next time I'm in the area and not going to the VA (as that's my main reason to go to Fayetteville,) I'll try to come here again and try something else on the menu.

We have been to Hammontrees so many times and love their food. But today I believe will be the last time we go. My wifes birthday is today (sept 4), we called a day before asking if they did reservations (the answer was no).... so my wife and I walk in 30 minutes before our party of 10 showed up to let the staff know. We told the host we had 10 coming and the look she gave us, as she looked at her watch, seemed to be very inconvenient.

We blew it off thinking we read the situation wrong and sat down at the bar for a quick drink before everyone arrives. 2 more people show up and we asked the hostess if we could go ahead and get the table prepped and sit down, she grabs some menus and as we are walking over there she tells us "we can't combine tables so we are going to have to split you up".............

We asked "why? the restaurant is literally EMPTY!!" [maybe 2 tables inside with people at them]. The response was simply "its a fire hazard, and the owner said we cant". At this time we are floored, shocked and even more confused. I asked for a manager to get a better explanation and she said pretty much the same thing. My wife frustrated this wasnt told to us WHEN WE FIRST GOT THERE is now embarrassed as more people arrive decides we are no longer eating there [in tears].

I hope and pray the owners see this post, i have been to 5 restaurants in town way smaller than this location... and they would NEVER turn down a 10 top! I asked numerous times for a manager to get the owner on the phone but it simply did not happen!

To the owner: Your food is Great, we've eaten at both of your locations (when you had the other), it seems like your staff doesnt quite want the business I know you want/need. Please fix this, I dont believe for one minute two tables [an 8 and 4 top butted together] could be such a fire hazard.... feel free to reach out to me. I'm so hurt this happened to my wifes favorite place on...

The food was good, but they have an issue with their wait staff. We sat outside on the patio (4ppl). Towards the end of the meal, the weather started to turn bad, rain and lightening. So I went inside and asked the hostess if we could move inside to a table that had just been vacated. This table had not been cleared, still had the check and dirty dishes on it. I pointed to it and said could you clear that off and we can move there and finish our meal, we'll be done in less than ten minutes. She said, we have people waiting to be seated. Ok, I get that, but we're here now and are trying to not get rained on. She acted like the people waiting were more important than someone already in the restaurant. So she says let me see what I can do. I go outside and we're all huddling close to the building to stay dry. The hostess comes out and tells me that I can try moving the tables closer to the building to stay dry, but that those tables inside were not available, because I chose to sit outside. At this point, we're done eating, so I ask to speak to a manager. I calmly recap to a manager this situation and explain that it was a poor ending to our evening there. I reiterated that when we sat outside, the weather was nice and I had no idea I storm would roll in and rain on us before we could finish a meal. She agreed that a customer should not have to consult the local weather broadcast, before choosing to sit outside. I said that it should have been an easy and normal fix to offer us a table inside. I found it odd that she didn't agree, but instead stated that she would review their policies. Which I believe is code for, hopefully this appeases you and you won't make a scene. Just to clarify, I did not make a scene. I spoke to the manager in a calm, cordial manner and gave a good tip. So in summary, pretty good food, but poor...

Loved this place in Rogers, wish it wouldn't have closed.

Here's the reason for my 2 stars and me being a "karen."

Saturday night, I expected a wait. 20-30ish minutes, no biggie, we're seated. No waiter. Small table beside us was seated 5 minutes after us. Waitress was over immediately, took their drink order, delivered it, and then our server arrives for the first time. He took our drink order, brought it back, our appetizer and food came out in a timely manner. We had an AMAZING meal, food was great as always.

Our waiter, Dante (i assume, thats what the receipt said, but he wore glasses and had blue-green hair) came and checked on us once, got us a refill. At this point things were still fine.

We finished our food and I saw Dante check on the table next to us. Figured he'd come get ready to ring us out/to go box, but instead he went to the very large table that had just sat down. He walked back and forth several times and all around us. Now, i get it that he got busy, but IMO he should have gotten their drinks to them and then told them he'd be right back to get their food order AFTER checking on us. We had now been done with our food for well over 15 minutes. When i saw him going to enter their order, i approached him and asked for a to go box and our ticket. I wasnt real kind in my tone, but he hadnt checked on us in a long while.

At this point I had still planned to leave him a tip. However he earned his NO TIP with his shoving the to-go box in my hand and his smart mouth comment when he brought my ticket. "I got triple stacked, thank you very much" with a bad attitude.

Dante may need some lessons in waiting tables and maybe some etiquette. The blonde girl was running circles around him.

I certainly feel terrible if there is tip sharing, because this kids' poor attitude...
