I do not like to leave very negative reviews but I do wish to provide feedback. If I were to rate it based on just what I got today it would be lower. That said I picked up a cake today I had ordered about 2 weeks ago and was quite disappointed. I feel I gave a pretty good description for what I want and provided multiple pictures of the type of thing I wanted. I did not recieve a product resembling what I had asked for/shown. I even specifically requested it have strawberries with the stems cut off and did not get that. The berries on top of my cake were all concentrated on about a 3rd of the surface of the cake. I suspect they mistakenly thought I wanted writing on it, reread my sheet detailing how I did not want writing, and then just shrugged and left all the empty space on top of the cake that would have been were writing would go. I am not an expert at decorating cakes but had to dress it up/correct myself at home.

It is not the first time I have had a cake made here. The last time I was very pleased. I don't consider my requested cake to be disimilar from my previous order, nor my effort put towards describing what I want, if anything it was more simple. I hope in the future the quality can return to what I got the first time around although I am not sure I will try ordering again to find out.

The staff I have dealt with have all been very good and friendly.

Also, while I am here, I find the grilled cheese to have an excessive...

This review is really sad to make, because I’ve loved this place since my boyfriend took me here! It’s one of the first places we went to as a couple. However our recent visit has left a bad taste in our mouths, I always order the California Veggie but this time I wanted to change it up and try the croissant instead of the wheat bread. We waited 30ish minutes which was fine, it was very busy! But when I we got it, mine had turkey??? Luckily I’m not highly allergic, but there’s a reason I get the veggie. I do have a slight allergy, when my boyfriend asked if the CALIFORNIA VEGGIE always has turkey. The worker said, “ Yeah usually. “ In a very quick tone, not sure if she misheard him for the 3rd time but this was supposed to be a veggie sandwich(as stated on their menu)….. They did take the sandwich back, but looked like it was not remade. Just the turkey taken off, because of how fast the fix was and the sandwich appeared like there was some gasps where the meat had been. Maybe it was just that fast, I’m not sure! That is totally fine however, if there’re had been pieces of turkey or if my allergy was any more severe it would have been a much worse situation. I hope they learn to handle allergies a little better, because I really do love this place. Truly I think it was just a miscommunication between me and the worker, However I can’t in good conscience go back for...

Start off with the bad. There are only 6/7 tables, only 4 are 4 people sized tables, the others are 2 people sized and there is always one guy that just sits at a 4 person table, never eating, just plays on his laptop. He just sits there for hours. Which would not be an issue, except when you have such limited space and families have to leave because there is no where to sit. Today was even worse, there were three guys sitting at three tables playing on their iPads. Two of the guys were sitting at four person tables. Maybe they purchased food originally, but they have long finished eating.

Why as a business with such limited and valuable resource like tables, would you allow the same guy, week after week, to come in and just sit and play on his iPad. This is the second week in a row that we had to get our food and leave, but . We would not mind if the tables were being utilized by paying patrons. They are often busy, but generally people are considerate and once they are finished eating, they leave.

With all that said, we LOVE the food and the place. It has become a weekend routine to go there for breakfast. We enjoy getting out of the house for breakfast, not simply getting the food to go and having to come home to eat. There are other places that have the space that we may have to begin visiting if this continues to...

Delicious and reasonably priced. Pros: *Located a couple of blocks off the square. *Surrounded by lots of shops and interesting places to see *If you're not crazy hungry portions are big enough to split *Options of chips or side salad. *Up the ramp inside is additional seating and the restroom. Lots of nice outdoor seating as well. Free wifi Cons: *Inside seating across from the order station is cramped. You WILL have your chair bumped multiple times by customers standing in line or fetching drinks. *Frau Farbissina works here and will scream your name to pick up your order. It's disconcerting if you aren't ready for it. I recommend Scott, Adriane or Stella for maximum levity.

The place is hip, and cool. It’s very cozy and cool for breakfast, brunch, or coffee. I spent a few hours hours here eating my lunch and meeting a casual date. I ordered some Italian sandwich which was decent. The sandwich bread was not a regular one, maybe some house baked focaccia or something. The sandwich was breaking and falling while eating and became messy. It was served with a pickle and a handful chips. I think it’s a little pricy considering the price and the amount. They have bagels, muffins and a lot of baked goodies and sweet stuff. I have to go back again to try some cookies and baked pastries.
