MaryBill’s Cafe — Restaurant in Fayetteville

I would not recommend this place to anyone! We went in for breakfast. I ordered French toast, and egg and sausage patties. The sausage patties were not freshly cooked. They were being placed in the microwave to be warmed up. Lots of their food was thrown in the microwave as we could see this from our table.

It took a good 20 minutes before we even got our plate. After receiving my plate I noticed there was a hair in my food. The waitress took the food back to be recooked. My husband was done eating and my food still wasn't out a good 20 minutes later. I got tired of waiting so I asked them. Could they just make it to go. Still waiting another 10 minutes and nothing. We went ahead and paid for our food, the food I never even got to eat and left. The explanation on why my food wasn't getting out was because they were busy. They were putting other people's orders in front of mine who hadn't even started eating yet. It was so ridiculous. You're always supposed to correct the customer's problem and get their food out promptly versus seating other people, taking their orders and putting the customer that's getting the correction in line as if it was a new order behind them. This place was an absolute disaster and I would not ever spend another dime there again.

Drove up to MaryBill's Cafe on Sunday for a late breakfast not quite brunch meal. I got there about 0900 and parking was a bit odd, angled parking relative to the store front. Also took a bit of double-checking since it wasn't readily apparent I was at the right place until I spied the sign on the front door (on the corner).

When I walked in the front room was relatively full but got seating right away in the back room. Front room seating seemed a bit noisy for me so the back room was perfect and included a TV to watch the news while I waited.

CJ was my server and service was prompt and attentive and did not make me feel rushed when I asked for a few minutes to review the menu. The selection was pretty wide and included some healthy (and not so healthy but equally delicious) options.

The food was good, presentation also good, and my coffee cup never ran dry (a big deal for me).

My check was presented face down and I didn't feel rushed out the door. It did take a while for my check to be picked up but I assume that is because it started getting busy up front.

Things worth noting: The condiments are pre-packaged and did not include butter. (2) seat tables are a bit small for 2 people.

I would go back again and would recommend you check it out if you are looking for a laid back, good portion...

First time coming here for breakfast. Drove from Lillington. Got there at the absolute busiest time and understood there would be a wait but it was well worth it! I was wanting some good pancakes and they delivered with a stack of the fluffiest and perfectly cooked pancakes. Probably the best I have ever had! Now the eggs, how can somewhere make the softest, melt in your mouth scrambled eggs ever? Well they did it! My son had the breakfast burger and said it was amazing as well. My wife had Mommas omelet with a side of hollandaise to put on top. Hands down the best hollandaise I have ever tasted! Now the service…. Our server was super sweet and our drinks never ran empty. She kept us updated on the status of our food and made sure everything was perfect when we received it. Unfortunately I failed to get any pictures as it looked so good I couldn’t do anything but dig right in. This was our first of many meals to be had at Mary Bills!
