Took my son to speech therapy in the same building, while we waited I got a coffee and some baked goods! My sister had gotten a coffee before we came here because she’s very particular about how her coffee is made and is a little embarrassed about how particular she is with her food and drinks, but she had a donut here that she liked so we bought one for her. My sister doesn’t “look” disabled, as someone might say, but she is, and struggles a lot with social anxiety and going into public places. This was a big accomplishment for her, and we were all very happy to find a way we could have coffee together by getting her drink before we came and then ordering ours here, but one of the older staff, I think her name was Kim, took our accommodations very personally and started asking my sister what was in the coffee saying, “we can make that here, yeah, we could’ve made that here.” And stopped her in what she was doing to stand with her hand on her hip looking down at my sister and demean her about bringing her own coffee, saying, “we could’ve made that”. I thought she was joking at first, but she doubled down and just began questioning her until she cried and then the lady just walked away. My sister knows some of the training employees by name, she loves coming here and now she’s just embarrassed and has been worried that people will make fun of her or judge her like this lady did. My sister tried to smile and talk to her politely, only to get snarky responses and rude looks the whole time. My sister has been isolating herself from public since this, and this woman didn’t even consider how her thoughtless and blatantly antagonistic actions could effect someone who has worked so hard to be able to be there, and cause them more fears than they began with. I’m worried for how she might treat the trainees who might have trouble standing up for themselves, and I genuinely feel sick coming here and seeing her after how disgustingly she treated my sister based off of a first glance assumption. We were here for speech therapy, and only bought stuff to be courteous while we were there. We were shocked people still act like this to others, especially a grown...
Read moreStepping into Miller's Brew transported straight to Italy, thanks to their divine affogato. Their version of this classic Italian dessert is a masterpiece, perfectly served with luscious vanilla gelato and a robust double shot of espresso. The splash of caramel and whisper of whipped cream on top on this delectable experience.
Each visit reminds me why I adore this place; the atmosphere is exceptionally welcoming, radiating warmth and friendliness.
But Miller's Brew isn't just about the exceptional coffee or the soothing ambiance; it's the heart and soul they pour into their mission that truly inspires. They stand as a pillar in our community, embodying the spirit of partnership and family. It’s rare to find a business that touches your heart and soul while also serving the best affogato in town. Miller's Brew is more than a café; it's a community treasure that inspires me to be a better person every...
Read moreWe absolutely love this coffee shop. The coffee is excellent and all the workers are super friendly. What I love most about this place is the mission behind why they are doing, what they are doing. Having a daughter with special needs, this place touches my heart. I would also point out that they sell their coffee in bags as well. They conveniently have ground or whole bean. They also sell gift cards. I am switching over to buying their whole bean bagged coffee for us to drink at my office. I am also buying gift cards for customer referrals. I couldn’t think of a better way to help support the Miller’s Brew mission than thanking my customers by sending them there to get coffee or pastries. Go check them if you haven’t been yet. I promise you won’t regret it and you will find yourself a new...
