This house is dedicated to the other Edgar Allen Poe (not the poet, but a local businessman). He was an important figure in Fayetteville's history by owning the Poe Brick Company and was significant to the economy of the area.
They have tours that should be resuming starting 12 November 2020, but check with the Museum of Cape Fear to verify. Suggested donations is $2 for adults and $1 for children.
