Such a gem in downtown Fayetteville, NC! I did not know that Fayetteville had a tap house like his until I searched for "best pizza places in Fayetteville" and this popped up-I had no idea! Wow, from the moment walking in until I walked out I was impressed by the service and the selection of beers, wines, and ciders in this spot. It is located in a renovated home that probably used to be a bank or insurance office of some type, but it is now an amazing restaurant and tap house. I walked in after my friend had arrived and checked in with the hostess. To check out the drinks you have to provide your ID and credit card. They then provide you with a wristband that is able to track your every move--like every step, they knew where my friend was.
So, after checking in I decided to wait for my friend in one of there many decorated rooms. The room I was in had a few couches and chairs along with with a TV playing some old school jams. I loved it because I knew every single word to most of the songs. My friend and I grabbed a few drinks and ordered a Margarita Flatbread, wings, and chips and dip from the waitress. The service was an little lackluster at times, but for the most part was okay. The Beer choices and the service from people other than our waitress made up for it. Everyone was very nice and welcoming.
The best cider I tried was the Blake's blueberry lemonade that was so good that I took a six pack home. It was super refreshing, easy to drink, and so delicious! I could literally sip on it all day! Such a wonderful summer sipper!
I definitely plan to come back here at some point during the summer and enjoy their patio as it was like 50 degrees when I went...lol. Please do not sleep on Fayetteville and it's amazing night...
Read moreFood was good, but let’s be honest, I came for the tasty beverage’s. Amazing experience, pardon my excitement but I’ve never visited an establishment such as this. Once you enter you’re issued a bracelet with NFC technology and shown the way to the garden of Eden. There’s a vast selection of glasses to consume your ale from and once you’ve made your selection, it’s off to the races. Wide, and I mean wide selection of, you guessed it, tasty beverage’s from being a connoisseur to a social enjoyer. Each tap is equipped with a screen that gives the details of assortment of ales. You simply tap the tap with your bracelet and you’re charged by the amount of liquid refreshment you desire. This is where the clutch comes in. No more taking a stab or recommendation for a pint and it’s not connecting when you get it. Here you can short pour and taste and find your niche. Once you’ve chosen your delectable juice find a nice spot to enjoy your tasting with suitable seating throughout the establishment. When your night is over and you’ve “tapped” out just make your way to the counter and they scan your bracelet and you pay for what you’ve poured. If you’ve found your partner drink they also have the option to pick up your selection of drink in a can and take for consumption when you can’t make it out there for the experience. I can’t wait to visit again in the...
Read moreFound what we thought was a little gem away from downtown but it is not. We know it is known for it's beer and we don't drink but we have experienced some of the best food at places known more for their beer. When we came in there were not a lot of people and got our order in before the crowd arrived. First the waitress told us this was only her second day. Most places we've been if a waitress is new she has a shadow. I mention this because we seen a steady flow of food from the other two waitresses to people who came in after us. It took over 25 minutes to get loaded tots and they were luke warm. My wife got the BLFGT and liked it. I got the pastrami sandwich and it was a disaster. It had plenty of pastrami but even my wife laughed because you couldn't even taste the sauerkraut because it was pretty much not existent and never did find the Russian dressing. Also the cheese which was suppose to be Swiss was slightly melted on the bread and was orange like cheese whiz. We try different restaurants every Thursday and Saturday all over the Fayetteville area and this is towards the bottom of the list. Oh and when you order a soda it comes in a can...
