Pavilion Buffet — Restaurant in Fayetteville

This use to be an awesome buffet the people were so friendly and welcoming and the food was well worth the price. But since covid it has slowly went down hill. There is something that makes both my sons stomach ache after they eat there, to the point they won't go anymore even tho they love the food. And the service has went to pot! My visit today was the worst, like the straw that broke the camels back. We got our first plates and hadn't set down for 10 min before the waitress brought us our ticket! When our first plates were picked up the woman that got them was incredibly rude. Then in the middle of us eating our second plates the waitress came back and asked us if we'd pay. We hadn't been there 30 min and there were maybe 10 tables with people in a place will prob 100 tables zero reason to rush us except to prevent us from using a buffet like it's meant to be!!! Then when she finally came back to get my card to pay she made me give her a tip!! This is the second time I've basically had it demanded of me to give a tip!!!! And the waitress never even refilled our drinks once!! Rude table service for the cost of a fast food combo plus a couple dollars. I came here so I could sit and enjoy a meal catching up with a loved one. Rushing us to leave after our plates were finished was so rude. Over 15 tables were empty and no one was waiting to be seated. I understand you don't want people to take too much advantage of the "all you can eat" buffet but we were talking while our food settled. We weren't returning for plate after plate of food for hours but if we had, we were paying customers and it was still lunch. If I had just gone to a fast food restaurant, I would have had a far better time. I paid to sit and have a nice meal in a pleasant setting. The food was excellent but that's not enough to over look the waitress that kept asking for our plates when we were sitting there talking and eating. I have over looked their poor service and only returned for the quality of the food until now. I will not be returning and I will tell everyone I know about the over-priced nasty attitudes being served. If you want to be that rude, you should charge less. The food is alright, but the service is absolutely terrible. the waitress would come over to us every few minutes literally doing to much just straight bothering us. We weren’t even finished eating before we got the bill and when i opened my wallet the waitress was making inappropriate comments about liking lots of money, after seeing my money in my wallet. She was making me so uncomfortable and basically forced me to tip her and although I tipped her she got mad at the amount I tipped her (clearly angry about it) but when you are forcing me and making me uncomfortable the whole time I was there what do you expect. After she did her little petty mad slam with the plastic thing that you put the receipt on and walked away I continued to eat and not once did she say a word to me again nor refill my drink, which is odd because she kept asking to do it previously until I payed and she got a low tip.
