We chose this hotel as it’s a mile from the Tyson indoor track Center. Our digital key did not work upon our 10pm arrival. The front desk was less than welcoming with my issue and upon preparing the physical keys she said they have had issues all day - maybe she should have led with that statement instead of me feeling awkward and a bother. Our room was nice with a few of outdoor storage units that were very well lit at night. The darkening shades needed about an inch more in width, but it was ok. The beds are FIRM but comfortable and sit on a metal bed frame - I stumped my toe a few times the first night. The hotel was so quiet that you can hear everything!! Not people inside their rooms, but water running, the vacuum, etc. it was pretty nice for it being full to have low noise. Breakfast was ok - Luke warm at best for the biscuits, eggs and sausage but they have a microwave. No granola for yogurt, several coffee choices if you are a coffee drinker. The front desk gal that was working Sunday morning when we were leaving was super friendly and cheerful when we came through the lobby-where was she during our stay ?!?! We loved the quiet room and the close proximity to the track center. We...

Read moreI visited Fayetteville this past weekend with my church chorus. There were about 30 plus in our group. When we arrived to check in there were signs posted about a citywide power outage on Nov. 10th from 3:30am-7:30am. The front desk staff was helpful and even called other hotels in the area to see if they would be effected by the outage. Another hotel was willing to price match Hampton Inn's room rates. Staff was very helpful to explain how we could be effected by the outage; no hot water, no hot breakfast, no power until 7:30. We decided to stay and make the best of it. Well the power came back on early about 6:30. Being the breakfast eater that I am I went downstairs to check on breakfast. The breakfast attendant told me the oven was on & breakfast was cooking but would take about an hour. I returned about 30-40 minutes later & saw others in our group already eating breakfast. Breakfast attendant was on it & breakfast was great. She was pleasant and patient. I was hesitant about staying due to the power outage and not knowing if there would be a hot breakfast. Overall I'm glad we chose to stay. Everyone made the best out of the situation that was beyond any of our control. I'd...
