I am blown away at the out right rudeness of what I believe was the manager at this location .. I was traveling threw Fayetteville for the very first time with a friend who just recently moved to Arkansas and also my two children. .. We had to stop at the gas station next to tjs to get gas and find my daughter a restroom .. Of course to restrooms at this gas station . which was ok and understandable . plus who wants their lil girl using a gas station bathroom that's public .. So my friend ran with urgency over to tj s in hopes of a clean and available restroom .. And to my disbelief the woman whom she asked as she bounced trying to not have a accident may I please use our restroom. . and she just flatly said only for customers. . which I see as reasonable.. But my lil girl legs crossed with a bathroom emergency was just not some vagrant off the streets .. My friend said please she's just a lil girl she can't hold it and the woman so unbelievably rude said not my problem it's the rules .. My friend was in shock .. And could not believe that herself coming from Boston mass has never been in such a situation with such rude and cold hospitality .. So she grab my daughter ran across the busy street and brought her over to kfc .. Where she was greeted with a smile directed immediately to the restrooms and was even given a free drink when the kfc staff member heard my friend tell her what had just happen .. You would think the small sub shop would have been the more curdious and understanding staff.. But it was the big corporate chain who showed more care and politeness and welcoming attitude .. Believe me tjs will never get and customers from me family or friends whom I...
Read moreFood is mediocre. Service was rude and acted as if our presence was annoying. Walked in, went to the front and the young girl with longer dark hair slammed her cell phone down and gave us very distinct attitude while we ordered. I’ve never been here before and wanted a minute to look at the menu and she just stood there and glared at me. I felt uncomfortable enough to where I sat down at the booth and looked up the menu. We came inside to eat at 6:45, not knowing the lobby closes at 7 and is drive thru only past 7, but we sure were informed when she went to the front to tape a sign on the door that says “We are Drive Thru ONLY past 7 pm”. Again, just made our experience really odd, rude and definitely didn’t want any customers and just wanted to play on her phone. We also were out of the lobby before 7pm and were the only ones in there when we entered, but not as we left. First timers and probably won’t be back due to the absolutely horrible...
Read moreMy second visit to TJS. I was giving it another chance as I was unimpressed with my last visit here (my last visit I had the classic combo of grilled cheese and tomato soup.) Today I was one of their first customers and got a French dip. The service was extremely fast and Lauren wad kind had great customer service skills. The food, however was once again not so great… The sandwich was greasy and the meat was tough and dry. The side is pasta salad was drenched in oil and tasted only of olives. I left hungry, I ended up eating only half my sandwich and had to throw all this food in the trash. I returned to work from my lunch break hungry and unhappy that I wasted my hard earned money. I will say their ice and drinks are good…. Which is sad because a sandwich shop should have more to them than a good soda. I recommend green submarine and bottle rocket subs if you want a quality sandwich that’s...
