I just moved to NW fayetteville in august and i’m looking for my new go-to chinese restaurant. The one thing i order everywhere i go is crab rangoons so that’s the first thing i judge the place on. I like more filling than crunch, and their crab rangoons met my expectations. I did not expect to pay $8 for 4 of them though. I paid $11 for a decent amount of cashew chicken and an extra $2-3 to have my rice upgraded to have veggies and eggs. My old go-to has the option of breaded chicken which i prefer, but here i think there’s only unbreaded. Overall I would say the food is decent but too pricey for me. The owners are really nice and I had great service. I will continue my search.

We just recently moved to NWA from Ohio and this was the first Chinese restaurant we've tried since arriving. Sadly, it was very underwhelming. I definitely feel like the portions were small for the price. I'm used to paying less, getting more and the food tasting better. We both got sweet and sour chicken. The amount was very small and the rice could have been better. The chicken was just ok. The crab Rangoon was decent but then again, not sure if it was worth what we paid. Sadly, I don't see myself coming back unless every other Chinese place in Fayetteville is a bust.

A neat and clean, tiny eatery serving Chinese food, more like Panda Express!! Unlike most of the Chinese places, they don’t have any buffet. You have to order from their selection of menus. I ordered crispy noodles, that came with a scoop of rice as well. The food was mediocre, the portion size as compared to the price was merely okay. We took an appetiser which was fried chicken tossed in a sweet and savoury sauce, skewed in sticks. It was decent. Overall, I felt the place a little underwhelming.

I read the reviews before trying this place, they were good. An average of 4.6 or higher depending on which site. Unfortunately my husband and I weren't that impressed. Atmosphere was fast food-ish in decor and service. You walk up to order, even though we said we had never been in before the guy acted uninterested and just handed us a plastic covered menu. There was not as many choices as you usually see but we both found a dish we liked.

The bad news was the prices seemed high, especially after we received our food. One thing Asian restaurants are known for is giving you lots of food, often enough to take some home. This was not the case at Mong. I ordered sesame chicken and it filled less than half of a smallish plate. They put 2 decent sized scoops of fried rice (filler) but it looked and tasted like rice with a little soy sauce added to it. Not much flavor and no veggies or egg. Just rice. I was shocked when I saw that my favorite appetizer, crab rangoon, was over $9 for 4! Nope. I ordered a side of lo mein, again very plain, noodles and soy sauce, not a veggie or egg to be found. Also pricey, over $5, small plate. My husband ordered shrimp fried rice as his entree, it did have veggies and egg, little short on the shrimp. He bought an eggroll, he said it tasted "fine". No one came to our table to ask if we needed anything or water refills etc., since we saw a woman come over to a table of what appeared to be "regulars" and chat and show photos for about 5 minutes (and we told them we hadn't been in before), I thought it was odd she didn't just turn around ask if we liked our food etc.

We usually try to give new places 2 tries before we cross them off, in this case once was enough, the things we didn't like about it probably won't change. There are several places we have tried that were much better all around. Mandarin Bistro in Springdale and Y Y Food Truck in Lowell...

This place was my favorite for many decades, but the flavor of the food has declined somewhat over the past year. After a few bites I've thrown out the rest of the container 4 out of the last 5 times I visited, but my kids loved it so I kept going. However, today I ordered the wrong thing (they made sure I knew it was my fault), which I've not done in 33 years of going there; the mix up could've potentially taken my daughter's life (severe allergies). With the downhill trend and the way I was made to feel in the first few minutes of the call, when I reported the mistake, (I became angry after that) it is unlikely I'll return. The worst part is that, after all these years with a family run business, I don't think they'll even care if my family leaves. I guess that's...

Didn't actually go in. I was starving and also really needed to pee. As I walked up, there was a big sign that read "no public restrooms." WHAT?!? We immediately left. Also, there were NO other cars there, and it was mid lunch rush. They have a drive-thru window and MANY parking spots for curb side pick up. Maybe they're trying to get away from dine in. Ok, fi b e, whatever, but then advertise that so that when someone Google's establishment, they know what front that they can't go to the bathroom where they are eating, which I'm pretty sure is illegal. At least in arkansas. If you serve food you have to provide a bathroom. Anyway, switch to being a drive-thru or curbside pickup only kind of place if that's what you want, but if dine in is available, a bathroom...
