it's a consistently, slightly above average experience. the customer service is always good, and the food is decent. I go here when I want Chipotle but also want an unhealthy amount of food for a good price.
UPDATE: 3 stars to 2- I occasionally go to Flying Burrito, and every time I go, I leave slightly more disappointed. As the bar continually gets raised for fast casual dining and quick, "healthly" food options, Flying burrito seems like they're not willing to adjust.
While I was waiting in line, I watched a worker pull potatoes out of the freezer. Is it really that hard to use local (or at least fresh) potatoes? It's pretty clear that a good portion of ingredients are purchased this way. I find it super ironic that FB promotes "eat local" yet has an inferior supply chain for sourcing fresh ingredients when compared to a huge company like Chipotle. On top of this, the kitchen looks like it hasn't had a deep cleaning since Y2K.
I really want to like Flying Burrito, as I've been a customer for several years. But it just doesn't really cut it anymore for me. Dickson St. location closed and I wouldn't be surprised if others start fading away for fresher options. I'll reluctantly make the trip to Qdoba, Moe's, or Chipotle next time I want a chicken burrito bowl with black beans, potatoes, peppers, onions, medium salsa, queso (mixed), tomatoes, corn, lettuce...

In January I ordered a taco bar for 30 people to be delivered to an event happening in April in Fayetteville, AR. I gave Nick my credit card number and trusted that my spot was secure.
3 days before the event Nick called and said they had a ‘situation’ and asked if we could pick it up instead. I said no, I asked for delivery because we have no one to pick it up. So he asked if they could deliver it an hour early since they’re unable to deliver it at the time I reserved 3 MONTHS ago. I agreed since I didn’t have much of a choice.
Fortunately I was able to find someone who could pick up our order so that my event attendees wouldn’t have to eat guacamole that had been sitting out for an hour.
I can recommend the food at the Flying Burrito Co. in Fayetteville, AR. Everything was delicious. But I cannot recommend their catering service. No matter how far in advance you place your order, there is no guarantee they will deliver.
I’m not sure what the reason was but since I got bumped 3 days before my event I have a feeling a larger order came in and it was given priority despite the fact I had reserved that time slot months in advance. Whatever the reason, it reflects poorly on the integrity of...
