Chili Shack — Restaurant in Federal Heights

First time going here thought I'd try something new. I went in just before lunch not busy at all no customers waiting in line a few in the dining area. I decided on the sloppy burrito asking if the green chili came in different heat levels I was told no. I asked if the burrito was a hand held or could I get it smothered she told me I could get it either way. So I ordered it smothered, and with a soda. The lady was also busy texting on her phone while I was trying to figure out my order because I had told her this was my first time here so I needed to navigate the menu. I pd and proceeded to go get my drink when I tried to move I needed to peel my feet off the extremely sticky floor the cashier noticed me annoyed with the sticky floor but continued to be on her phone. I went to find a place to sit down but tables were dirty and big holes in the booth seats. 2 other customers food had came up and the cashier had came to me and asked what kind of meat did I want on my burrito? Not knowing it came with what kind do you have? So I ordered. If she wasn't busy on her phone she should have caught this when I was ordering i had told her this was my first time here. My food was packaged for to go so I guess even if you dine in you get it for to go. My green chili wasn't green it was red I was a bit confused no cheese no smothered but was still giving it a go maybe this is the way it's supposed to be. And then something fell from the top of the windows not sure what it was dirt, lint, bug I'm done the restaurant wasn't filthy but could be alot better for not having customers in there....

Stopped in for the first time on a Wednesday evening. The place was not too busy, just one or two groups besides my partner and me. It was pretty clean, thus the three stars for the atmosphere.

I ordered a cheese burger with onion rings while my partner ordered the southwest burger with smothered fries. It took about 25 minutes for us to get our food, which was pretty crazy for how low-quality the food was. The patties were clearly frozen and very thin. My burger came out with only the patty and cheese and I had to ask for all the standard ingredients that were listed as supposed to come on the burger. The onion rings were good but nothing special.

Had to ask for cutlery and ketchup. The worker who helped us was very nice, but seemed to have difficulty understanding what I was saying while ordering and when asking for the correction for my burger.

2 stars for food besides it tasted fine. 2 stars for the service because it took way too long to get our food and it was wrong.

I do not foresee myself...

Oof, what a disappointment. Came in on a Wednesday and there were definitely only 2 people working here. Cashier was weird and almost messed up our order multiple times.

Menu is digital but all the prices are wrong. They have a paper sign up saying that due to inflation, prices might be different. Like... Dude... Just change the jpeg on the menu TVs.

Food took over 20 minutes to arrive. My southwest burger was alright, but just a total mess. Had to ask for utensils and napkins. Nobody could eat this thing without making a mess. The chili rellano was the best part. Green chili was meh. I've had WAY better in Colorado. Burger patty was maybe 3oz,gray, and sad.

My husband ordered a cheeseburger and it came out with nothing on it. Server didn't offer ketchup, sides, or anything. Definitely a frozen patty. Also tiny, gray, and sad.

A waste of calories. I had such high hopes, but I left sad and disappointed. Had to get more food on the way home...
