Hi friends!! Any Yummy Hotpot stans in the house?? A few months ago, I gushed about their other pilot restaurant Yummy Dumpling at CO at 104th & Federal and definitely felt the love on that post!!
Since then, theyāve added their amazing AYCE hotpot to their dumpling location and combined their amazingness!!
For $26.99/pp, you can get AYCE hotpot (with their chefās special sauce!!! š¤¤) AND complimentary additions from their dumpling menu!! Just a sample below, we ordered their chili oil dumplings š„ AND their addictive stir fried green beans - this value, quality and deliciousness is UNMATCHED. š«¶š¼
They also took everyoneās suggestions and to help eliminate waste and confusion, the veggies and noodles varieties are out for you to grab and try at your leisure. I love family businesses and to see this one take the communityās feedback and act on it? You canāt get any better than that.
Itās soup season everyone - Go get your soup on!
āā Finally - some amazing Szechuan food in Federal Heights!!!
Yāall - I have been craving sautĆ©ed green beans and spicy crunchy chicken and boy did Yummy deliver!
First off - I love the family who run Yummy Dumpling and Yummy Hot Pot. You canāt get anymore genuine, sweet and caring people who truly just want to feed you their favorite foods! Gotta love the family business!
Please please if youāre looking for the lightest, crispiest fried chicken with salt and Szechuan peppercorn seasoning and donāt mind the addictive mouth numbing - do me a favor and eat a whole plate of that chicken!! Green beans were seasoned well - could NOT stop eating. And omg the wontons in chili oil?! Game freaking changer. Not too spicy (they have extra chili oil at the table for you) and the sauce in it was just TOO good.
Other highlights not pictured: their hot & sour soup is actually SOUR! I loved it! And the bacon cheese wontons?! Who thinks of this stuff? It is a strong bacon flavor which I wasnāt prepared for (even though itās in the name haha) - but tasty and perfectly crunchy! Please run, donāt walk to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at a new dumpling restaurant, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. As a lover of dumplings, I couldn't resist trying this place out, and I'm thrilled to report that it has quickly become one of my favorite spots in town. Upon entering, I was immediately struck by the modern and comfortable setting of the restaurant. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a meal. The menu, while not extensive, featured a tantalizing selection of dumplings and other delectable dishes. I found myself torn between the various options as I wanted to try everything. When the dumplings arrived, I eagerly took my first bite, and I was instantly transported to culinary bliss. The delicate dumpling wrappers were thin and soft, a testament to the skill of the chefs. Each bite revealed a burst of flavors as the light and flavorful fillings delighted my taste buds. It was clear that these dumplings were crafted with passion and expertise. In addition to the dumplings, I also tried the tea-smoked duck, and it was a revelation. The skin was perfectly crispy, providing a satisfying crunch with every bite. The meat was juicy and tender. I havenāt had a tea-smoked duck delicious like this since my days in Hawaii. The only suggestion I have for this fantastic restaurant is to place a big sign on the wall outside, making it easily visible from the street. Such a great establishment deserves to be noticed and supported by the community. Once people taste the exceptional food and experience the wonderful ambiance, they will undoubtedly become regular patrons. All in all, I have found my new go-to restaurant for dumplings and more. I eagerly look forward to returning soon to explore other tantalizing entrees on the menu. If you're a fan of dumplings and crave a dining experience that will leave you wanting more, this restaurant is an...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen this place opened, they had a great menu. The only complaint was that they left their inner door open even on really hot it cold days, eliminating the advantage of a vestibule for climate control. First time, we had double pepper chicken and honey shrimp and soup dumplings. All amazing. A week later, the menu no longer had the chicken or shrimp. So we had cumin beef and some other kinds of dumplings - amazing. The next time we went in, no cumin beef or those dumplings, so we had fried rice and scallion pancake. Next time, no fried rice. They keep trimming the menu. Now it's hot pot or a small selection of dumpling and noodle options. The incredible menu options are all gone! The hot pot is ok, but they had an incredible menu that they slowly eliminated for hot pot. And for some reason we waited for 15 minutes for our broth to cook in to come out. We will go when we're hungry enough for all you can eat. But we were going every week until they decimated their menu. There are better dumplings at Happy Dumpling (just a terrible atmosphere there). They also added so many tables that the place is cramped, and they're all made for hot pot, but many are not hooked up. They sit low, and your legs don't fit under them if you're in a chair... only comfortable when sitting on the benches. The two-person tables are too small for hot pot. There's a small station for hot pot pickings that is not well stocked - always running out of sausages, tofu, bean sprouts, and greens. The sauce...
