Updated 07/19/25 I recently visited Jimmy John's for the second time in a while, as I typically opt for online ordering and delivery. On this occasion, I decided to place my order in-person. There were approximately five employees working, but none greeted me upon entry. I observed one employee take an order, and after completing it, I approached the counter to place my order. I initiated the interaction by saying hello, placed my order, and paid with my card. However, I did not receive a receipt or instructions on the next steps. I waited for about five minutes, observing another customer receive their order within a shorter timeframe. After 10 minutes passed, I inquired about the status of my order and was informed that it was being prepared at that moment, despite another customer who ordered after me receiving their order first. I had ordered two sandwiches, which took approximately 16 to 17 minutes to prepare. This experience has led me to consider ordering online again in the future.
Jimmy John's is known for offering high-quality, tasty sandwiches in the neighborhood. Their sandwiches are made fresh, and I appreciate that they remain soft throughout the day. The roast beef and shredded lettuce are my favorites, but their ham is...
Read moreWe ordered our food on a Friday night at 6 pm. With the expectation of picking it up at 6:30 pm. I arrived and there were 2 groups in front of me to pick up. And someone who walked with there date. At that time there were 4 workers. The female on the register looked defeated. The two males making sandwiches, were making sandwiches like they just learned how. The older lady with tattoos was on the phone when she got off, she did absolutely nothing to help. Just walked around providing no help or guidance. Around 6:45 two more workers pulled up, they were drivers. They also provided no kind of effort. So now you have 6 people sharing the same space with only 3 really working. Little bit after seven, the sandwiches were done and I went to pay, I tried to us the 20% off code. But nobody in the building could figure it out. She asked for help but none of the other 5 employees could help. She stated that there is no manager on duty who could help. As a owner or a manger I would be so embarrassed. Nobody cared about the service...
Read moreUsed to go here a lot. Last few months, whenever I've gotten a spicy Italian sandwich, I get ripped off. Supposed to be double salami, capicola, and provolone. What I'm getting is a single layer of cheese, double salami, and zero capicola.
Edit 12/8 - So I wrote to customer service asking about the double cheese on this sandwich. Apparently, back in July the double cheese was quietly dropped and the ingredient list updated. That sounds about right for noticing the lack of cheese. Normally a screw up like forgetting a layer is no big deal, but I started noticing that the capicola was missing on several sandwiches, and wanted to put an end to the mystery. So three stars averaged for secretly taking away the double cheese, after the price increases, running out of capicola due to "supply chain issues" and just leaving it out and hoping I won't notice while I pay full...
