I was in the area for a Marketplace meet up. I did a Mobil order while waiting. Went through the drive thru. Food was not ready so I had to pull over and wait. When I was given the bag I drove off and started my drive home that is 40 minutes away. I chose to eat one of the sandwiches first. I was more then 10 miles into my drive when I realized the hashbrown was missing. Once I was home I used the McDonalds app to request a refund. ( that is how most food apps work). McDonalds app says I need to call the store. So I called and the guy who answered said he could write my name in a book. How is that helpful? He gives me to the manager Casey who tells me “ there is nothing she can do for me” and “ that I need to drive 40 minutes back to the store to get a refund”. Nothing she can do for me??? Sure there is, the first thing she could have done was apologize. Then the next thing she could have done at the very least once she knew how far away I was was to mail me some sort of coupon to use at any McDonalds. Casey needs a lesson in giving good customer service because she is clueless. If I could I give zero stars I would. The fact that she didn’t even apologize and say “I am sorry that happened, we clearly dropped that ball”. Nope basically said “tough luck”. It doesn’t matter the it’s only a hashbrown, it’s the fact that the employees didn’t check the bag to make sure everything that was ordered was there and that I spent my money at this store. Read moreWe usually never get our full order here. I've never had issues with any of the employees, until tonight. My husband put in a big order and some of our items were missing. So I went up with the receipt explained to one of the employees over the box what happened and she was very nice. The employee at the window was not as nice. He asked for the amount and I said I had already paid for it and showed the receipt. Then he got an attitude saying I needed to tell him what was going on. My bad that I assumed employees working in the same building would talk to each other when problems with orders come up. I have no issues going back up to the store and getting what wasn't handed out the window. I understand mistakes happen and working in the fast food business is stressful enough without having a-hole customers complaining about forgotten items or incorrect burgers. Im assuming the guy at the window was a manager because he said he had to comp the meal and did it himself, that's usually something only a manager or shift supervisor is able to do. We will still go to this McDonald's of course since it's close and my kids are addicted to the happy meals, but I hope I don't have to deal with this employee again. Read moreI've been coming to this McDonald's restaurant for six years. I also travel around the country a lot for work and For Better or Worse have purchased a lot from McDonald's. Lol. This particular McDonald's in Fenton I was 100% always turn my order right. I don't think they have never made a single mistake that I can think of and I probably been there a hundred times the people are great and the food is McDonald's perfect. Often times I'll ask them to double fry my French fries so they're extra crispy and they do that. They also seem to carry the BBQ rib sandwich longer than some of the other McDonald's and that is one sandwich that I can never get enough of. They recently did a complete remodel and both drive-thru and inside services are fast . So to this McDonald's I say please make the McRib sandwich a regular thing and I will go even more often. Also please add diet dr. Pepper to your menu. Please please please. So I do highly recommend this particular McDonald's and appreciate their level of service and people skills and that they are the only McDonald's I've ever been to multiple times that has made my orders 100% right every time and that has always had great customer service so...
