RailYard Fenton — Restaurant in Fenton

I'm used to Detroit Shipping Company, this is not that. This is definitely more family oriented, which is fine, however kinda cramped. Needs more seating options thats not just next to the containers, would like to see more scattered around the building. Yes you can go inside. Inside is nice, there is arcade games upstairs and downstairs, don't get too excited because there's only a few games. It's not huge. The upstairs only capable of sitting like 10 people. And the basement you can't bring any food or drinks down. Service, oh man. The guy at Little Lous Hot Chicken was a jerk. I've never ate there before nor knew the style of chicken tjey served. I asked what the rating means as far as sauce. He looked at me like I was dumb, "there's no sauce, its hot level." Ok, what does that mean "it's spices, dry. No sauce." No where on the menu does it explain that, that its no sauce just dry spices. So I didn't eat there. I ate Smash House, the lady was an excellent server and their food was Great. Michigan Hot Dog and my husband got the Pork Pops and Loaded Fries. Drinks on the other hand, my husband asked if they made Specialty Drinks, nope so then he asked to make a "G'NT" the bar tender looked at him weird, the he said Gin and Tonic, she finally got it. Must be new. $16 for two drinks. Beer wall looked neat, however not beer drinkers. This place wasn't for us. I'll go somewhere...

Not only did I get stopped at 12:16 and not once did the guard say “hey we stop letting people in at 12:15.” Tonight I physically got stopped and was told no I can’t go in until I told dude I have to literally close my tab at that point he let me in. Not only that 15 min to we were physically demanded to get off the property by security, we asked why when the the establishment closes in 15 minutes so that we can sip on our water, relax and calm down after dancing all night the guard wouldn’t just let us relax. Why put on your sign that you close at 1 and you actively push people out the door well before you close?(Half hour prior) I’ve been to many bars and restaurants that close at 2 and not once have I ever been physically pushed out the door before close that’s absolutely ridiculous for any establishment regardless if you “Want to go home” you have a job and you willingly applied for it. At no point did i cause any type of scene or anything so I and my group are extremely confused and irritated as to why this happened.

So at the end of the day I would like for some sort of repercussion action to be done with this security company who thinks it is okay to physically touch someone who was minding their business and if nothing is done I will just end up contacting the proper channels and report the company itself for improper training and conduct at an...

Have you ever seen two dogs that are strangers become aggressive towards each other or violent? This is the place where the stakes are high. Open to the road. All dogs welcome, no rules or restrictions, and near you while you eat outside, whether you’re OK with it or not. Per the owner, it’s not gonna ever change. Now I understand that the majority of people are good with it. But we’re talking about any dog, any size, any kind, any temperament, any owner, no rules or restrictions.

So if you are someone with young children who is not comfortable with strange dogs around your children, you will not be eating outside. But you have to walk through that area to get inside. If you’re a person with a disability who has a fear of dogs, you are in the same predicament. If you’re allergic to dogs, sorry. If you don’t like them near your food, especially dogs of all kinds, clean or dirty, no restrictions, this is not the place for you. There’s no signs or rules and in a small space.

On the positive, the pricing you would expect, decent food, tons of activities to do, inside and outside. Staff is not friendly with fits the narrative throughout all the poor reviews and overall not family friendly. More of a...
