Rusty Jimmie's Crab House — Restaurant in Fenwick Island

We found this place doing a Google search for AYCE crabs and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad we did! First, I have to say: They allow you to Bring Your Own Beer! What a great deal to save you money on the alcohol! Plus the service was fantastic! The owner, Mark, was so friendly. He brought me a sample of their soft crab appetizer after I mentioned that I've never had soft crab. It was delicious! I ended up ordering their special- 2 fried soft crabs, topped with crab imperial. So so good! My husband had the all-you-can-eat crabs, which we learned are caught daily by the owner. He gave us a really interesting lesson on bay crabs vs sea crabs. He catches sea crabs, which are typically heavier. He was a wealth of info on crabs, crabbing, and seafood. The corn was probably the best I've ever had. The owner's mother makes the corn bread and banana bread for the restaurant. The interior is part seating area, part seafood store; they have plenty of space for several parties. Very casual, local feel with hand drawn crab pictures from many customers covering the walls. Great Service, Delicious Food, BYOB, Fat Heavy Crabs, and we love to support small businesses..... We will...

The food is absolutely amazing!!! We had grilled salmon, the fried flounder and all you can eat soft shell crabs. I made everyone try the salmon and we all agree it is the best salmon we have ever had! It was cooked to perfection and the flavor was perfect! The fried flounder was fantastic! The corn bread, hush puppies and fries are so good! The owner Chris is the fisherman and was our server :-) he makes the whole dining experience awesome! This is our second time here and we will continue to always come here years to come. Oh and its BYOB. There is a liquor store across the street and Rusty Jimmies brings out buckets of ice to keep it cold for you!

Food is absolutely amazing!!! Our server Joss was fantastic!!! As any other restaurant in America it is short staffed and she killed it waiting on the inside, outside and carryout!!!! This is my number 1 stop for dinner and I will always recommend this place and will be back before I'm done...

We are visiting the beach for the week for our family vacation and my wife was craving crabs. Crab prices right now are ridiculous so we were resigned to the fact that we were going to skip getting them this year. I spotted Rusty Jimmies while stopping at Sunsations next door so I popped over to see what their prices were like and let me tell you they have the best prices of anywhere around! The owner was super friendly and so was the staff. We got a dozen larges and every single crab was cooked perfectly, packed full of meat and perfectly seasoned. What's more, the owner stopped by the table and noticed that a female crab snuck in our batch (I hadn't even seen it yet) and he brought us 2 extra crabs without being asked and free of charge. Superb service and excellent food! We will 100% be back and will he recommend this restaurant from now on for...
