Mimi's Subway Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Ferguson

Mimi's Subway bar (Address: 46 N Florissant Rd, St. Louis, MO 63135) is one of my absolute favorite bars / restaurants in the world. Today I ordered the New York Strip, loaded with Sauteed Onions, Mushrooms and Green peppers. It's normally served as a sandwich with melted cheese of your choice on a hoagie roll, but I elected to have the steak smothered, and have cheese garlic bread on the side. The steak was ordered and delivered at a perfect Medium Rare, red throughout and very uniformly cooked. The sauteed vegetables were spot on and the garlic bread was among the best I've had. Jackie made the meal for me, and I couldn't be happier. Linda was the bartender when I arrived, and I got the same good service I always do when she's on duty. Devin was the night bartender, and was fast, friendly and knowledgeable. Try as I might, I couldnt seem to get to the bottom of my beer without him anticipating my replacement beverage. If you run a bar and want to train your bartenders-just go for a cocktail at Mimi's while Devin is working and make that a training video. It's been a few years since I've visited a tavern and got such Great food and service. Thank you Mimi's!

Burger was absolutely gross. Meat tasted old. No gloves were worn and no washing of the hands for the cooks during the time I was there. I asked if they wore gloves and I was told yes then he proceeded to wash dishes then go straight to cooking. New cook walked in to help. And yep! You guessed right he didn't wash his hands. I ordered my burger without mushrooms & still got mushrooms. I will not be back. My appetite has run for its life. The stairway leading down to the front entrance smells sour and isn't ventilated so that won't help your appetite either. Now, I hate leaving bad reviews but hopefully I save someone a bad experience & a few dollars from this....

Good food and good vibes but if you don't like smoke don't go. The review was good the first time came back a man came to me and my friends table and told us he had covid 19 and he wanted to get everyone sick cuz he was about to die we told the people that works there and they did nothing said he was just playing we left but don't go there he is there everyday and they do nothing !!! I will be calling the health...
