I'm writing this review in the hope of helping someone not fall victim, to making one of the biggest mistakes of their lives. I recently bought a home with the help of Andreal Hoosman. I am a a first time home buyer and I came into this journey optimistic, excited, and hopeful. I was reassured by her that she was one of the best and that she had been doing this for many years. I trusted her to find me a home that I could be proud to own and share with my children. I viewed several homes, many of which I scouted on my own. Early on into the process, I felt that I was not Ms. Hoosman’s priority because she would frequently leave our viewings to attend other meetings. I found myself viewing homes alone and also staying up at night finding homes and asking her if we could go view them. I decided on one of the best homes from the many tours that I had attended with the guidance of Ms. Hoosman. I paid $900 dollars for an inspection prior to moving into my new home. I trusted Andreal Hoosman's 30 years of experience, expertise, and so-called knowledge in finding the best home for me and my children. I worked hard to accomplish one of my biggest goals of becoming a homeowner only to have it turn into my biggest regret. Can you imagine closing 28 days ago, to a house that is unsafe to live in. 2 days after closing spire was unable to turn the gas on due to a faulty furnace. The house was freezing at the break of winter. The next day the basement flooded due to bad foundation, destroying my new furniture. My plumbing leaked when I took a shower and there was an unpleasant odor that I couldn’t get rid of no matter how much I cleaned and sanitized. Ms. Hoosman made $3,600 off the sale of my house and her contractors were paid an additional 4,000 to make repairs and to kill existing mold. A week after closing my children began to get very ill, coughing, throwing up, chills, fevers, and skin rashes. I noticed a pattern that they would only be sick when we were home, so I hired an inspector to check the house. Not only did he confirm that the house was covered in mold, but also stated that the foundation was bad as well. After bringing this to Ms. Hoosman's attention, she apologized and agreed to do everything to help and make my home safe including taking financial responsibility for the repairs. A week later she went ghost and stopped responding to my calls, emails, and texts. This situation has broken me financially, mentally, and physically. My home is unsafe to live in. I have been unable to live there out of fear that my home will kill my children and I. Imagine experiencing this during the holiday season when you’re supposed to be joyful and happy! Instead, my children and I are absolutely miserable. I have had to come out of pocket for inspectors, second opinions, and contractor professionals because I trusted my realtor to guide me as a first-time home buyer. The pictures below are evidence of mold.. Smh don't do business...

I worked very hard to buy this house.I bought a home with the help of Courtnee Mills McCullough October 7,2024. On November 4,2024 my home started to fall apart the basement was leaking water in all four corners of my basement.(It was not in my disclosure) The paint on the walls started to come up and leak from up under. Pipes was busted under my kitchen sink, I had a snakes in my home many times. My back door was shut for days where I could not open it for the inside or out! Cabinets started to fall down. I called my realtor and made her aware of what was going on and she assured me that she would do all she could to help and that she have and will consult with Ms.Hoosman. Tho in the meantime I needed to call the insurance company and the warranty company as Ms.Hoosman and the inspector instructed. (My claim was denied)They called the seller and some works was send over to my home where I was verbally offended by the workers saying I’ll be a good maid because my home was clean and that I didn’t not know nothing due to me being a woman, and also let me know they could not do any work due to they boss saying “no” and the best they can do it drop off a bucket of dryloc and a paint brush and put drain pipes outside the home on my gutters. in which I let me realtor know. I reached out to the Inspector John Hunt that was Refer to me by my Relator, he told me that none of this was on him, and I need to contact my realtor and that he as Lawyers.    Read moreI’m leaving my point of view as a concerned family member of one of Ms. Hoosman’s recent clients. My sister closed on a home with her 1 month ago and from the beginning it was a nightmare. I feel that Ms. Hoosman took advantage of the fact that my sister was a first time home buyer and relied on her “expertise” and “knowledge”. I feel that my sister was gas lit throughout the entire process and mislead to rush the process in order for Ms. Hoosman to make a sale. When my sister tried to back out before being stuck in the devastating situation she is in now, Ms. Hoosman became hostile and confrontational due to fear of losing out on the deal. I wish that my sister had walked away then anyway. Since closing on her home she has been faced with nightmare and after nightmare! Her experience of a first time home buyer should have been full of joy, relief, and a sense of accomplishment. Instead her experience has been full of fear, sadness, regret, disappointment, and hopelessness. The home has the following but is not limited to…Mold, bad plumbing, a faulty furnace, and leaking foundation. The home is basically unsafe to live in! Keep in my mind she obtained an extensive inspection prior to closing. Ms. Hoosman reassured her that the inspection findings were not a deal breaker and that her contractors could easily resolve the issues. They were paid a total of $4000 to address those concerns. In my opinion they patched up the concerns enough to appear “fixed” but never actually made appropriate repairs. My sister has reached out for help from numerous people including Ms. Hoosman who promised to assist and provide financial responsibility. Ms. Hoosman has went completely ghost and stopped responding. I don’t recommend that anyone ever do business with her. Save your time, your money, your experience, and your hopes and dreams for someone else who...
