Vincenzos — Restaurant in Ferguson

I was there a few weeks ago so please excuse my delayed criticism.

The food was edible, and the wine was average, so it wasn't terrible. I'm used to mediocrity; I live it every day. However, the service was a tad sus. The waitstaff seemed a bit overbearing and would be checking up on us what seemed like every five minutes and it was a little frustrating. It almost seemed like they were in a hurry for us to leave, which was interesting because it wasn't very busy then.

Anyway, it's not super important because the terrible lady I brought is no longer speaking with me. She's probably off doing some sorcery like drinking moon water and staying in oddly themed motels. On a side topic, I think your establishment is haunted because the lights kept flickering, which leads me to believe that I was cursed with some bad juju, that's why my lady friend is no longer interested, as it surely couldn't be the result of my charming personality. Surely...

I took her to the lake for a picnic the last time I saw her. We sat by the water when these weird otherworldly entities that were gigantic in stature rose up out of the lake. They were winged creatures with humanoid bodies and tentacled faces. I saw some like them before in a small seaside town called Innsmouth. They picked her up and dragged her into the void, and I haven't heard from her since. Rachel, if you see this I'm sorry that the evil cthulhuian-like beings that started following us since dining at this particular restaurant kidnapped you.

Most of this review is sarcasm, but you wasted some of my time with your questionable service so I thought I'd return the favor.

Also, if you decide to dine here, the chicken marsala is actually pretty good. I was a tad too critical with my review...

I am going to preface this with our experience may be different because we are from out of town. We went around 8pm to order food and return to our Airbnb. We waited for a while for a server to acknowledge us even though she walked by us or stood at the bar staring at us. When she did acknowledge us, we were able to order to go food. The wait for the food was not too bad, maybe 15 minutes. While waiting though, we watched of age serving staff and cooks full up their glasses with vodka, tequila, and other alcoholic beverages. One even filled a glass full of three clear alcohol beverages, making it look like water. We were a little shocked, but it seemed to explain part of the older staff's behaviors. After receiving our food, we left to head to our Airbnb. When we got back, my sister had ordered the butternut squash pasta ($16). She had maybe 10 pieces in her large dish and that was all. It barely even covered 1/3 of the take out dish, so she felt a little jipped. My husband ordered the lizagna ($14) which was cold (our Airbnb is a 1 minute drive from the restaurant). I ordered the dinner Cesar salad. The salad ended up having moldy lettuce throughout and had a very off taste. We picked out all of the horn lettuce.options and had very few pieces left. Even those last pieces had a very off and old taste. Overall, we were very disappointed in the food and service. Maybe it is more of a nostalgia restaurant; we are not sure. But I can say we will not eat here again or...

My husband and I went to try them out. We've never been here before and wanted to try something new. The hostess immediately sat us and got our drinks. We needed a few mins to pick what we wanted she said our server would be right over however it took our server a good 10mins or so to come over to us. She took our order salad came right out and food was shortly behind however our server was MIA . We NEVER saw our server again. I had to get up and go to the bar and ask for refills and our server was at the bar and she didnt even help me the hostess had to get our refills. The hostess then got our boxes and our check and still never once saw our server again so I paid the bill and told the hostess to keep our tip. The service here is absoulty horrible and they're not even a big place so I dont understand why our server never once came back over to even apologize for being MIA.. the server with short black hair is probably there only good server i wish we would of had her it was a wednesday night and she was spending time with her tables. Food amazing service horrible. I do want to give it one more chance because I'm a server and know what its like for someone to have an off day hopefully when we do ever go back its better...
