Taste — Restaurant in Ferguson

I will say the lady who took my order was extremely polite over the phone. She said 20 minutes. However, I know better when dealing with the US, so I came in 43 minutes after placing my order. It still wasn't ready so I wait another 10 minutes nope not ready then I'm told "ooh we have a thousand orders, and this man been here since 7:15pm" I said nahhh that's ok I can't wait like that. Now she did refund me. However, my thing is, why require payment over the phone? Sure, you want to ensure people pick up the orders but what's the assurance for the customer that; they won't drive 20 minutes for food that's not ready even though they ordered an hour prior and was told 20 minutes. If it's going to take 1.5 to 2 hrs for fried food, then does it matter? So the customer pays in advance only to walk away, having to get a refund bc seriously, who is about to wait an additional hour for an order that was called in an hour prior. There's no reason fried food should be have a 1.5hr+ wait. Blk people please FIGURE OUT THE LOGISTICS before just opening up...

We were welcomed by the staff as soon as we walked in. The colors, decor and style of the restaurant are very pretty, warm and inviting. We were seated immediately. The menus were already on the table. Our waitress was very personable and checked on us frequently. A variety of options were available on the menu including vegan options. We ordered the honey orange pepper shrimp, salmon spring rolls, yard bird and shrimp fried rice. You talk about GOOD! ! ! Everything was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented and perfectly seasoned. We also received our food very quickly. The chef came out and asked everyone at each table about the food. Everyone said the food was delicious. I like the attention to details. I will definitely be returning. ...

They should have ran this food through the seasoning milll one more time. The chicken was fried perfectly but was unfortunately bland, the salmon bites were bland and dry,..the french fries were seasoned very well and they were crispy and hot. And just to make sure I wasn't trippin I asked my sister who came with me and a random table next to us, if their food was seasoning well..& BOTH said it wasn't. The wait time is at least 30 min.. (so dnt come in a rush) which I don't mind waiting that long for good food, but this wasn't it. The customer service is nice & the staff is friendly & helpful.
