Midwest Wine Bar — Restaurant in Ferguson

I was invited to an anniversary party On 7/8/23. I was really enjoying myself until I went to the bar and ran into the rudest barmaid ever! ( burgundy shirt, black leggings) Her energy was not good at all. She was VERY snappy and unfriendly. Body language, facial expressions and everything about this person was HORRIBLE. I asked for a glass instead of a plastic cup and she was RUDE WITH A VERY BAD ATTITUDE.She put my drink in a real glass, but wasted it all on the counter and outside the glass😳 I had to grab a napkin and wipe it up.There was another staff member who came and saved the day! I didn’t catch her name, but she had on a yellow shirt. This girl knows how to take care of customers. She was SUPER SWEET and apologized for her teammates behavior. Whoever owns this place has a WINNER on their hands. Thanks, yellow shirt for the exceptional service...

Finally, finally made my way to Midwest Wine Bar. Had wine and cocktails Awesome, diverse selection of wine. Affordable. Unique cocktail menu. Drinks were strong and good, you can taste the alcohol, but balanced very nicely with other ingredients. Staff was friendly, professional, and super thoughtful. Stepped out to grab food next door and they covered my drinks with no hesitation. The place itself, very clean, super cute touches. Jukebox machine. Hand sanitizer on every table, I mean the little things go a long way. They don't serve food, except some Tuesdays they have Taco Tuesday, and I will be at the next one. You can bring food in, and with such a great location, good food options in very close proximity. Parking is in the rear. Already looking forward to...

My friend and I randomly met up at this place, and it was nice! The place is well put together, the drinks were very good, and the prices are reasonable.

The staff was friendly! We were able to meet all of the owners. It was just a perfect meet-up place. The bathroom was SPOTLESS, and it smelled like it was in someone’s home. (I cannot stand public restrooms, so this was great!)

My only negative is that they do not serve food. With this atmosphere and amazing drinks, food would be the perfect touch, even if it’s just appetizers/hors d'oeuvre. However, I’m sure they have their reasons.

We’ve already agreed that we’ll be back! And I plan to spread the word to my friends and family.
