Gordos Tacos — Restaurant in Ferris

Definitely not worth it. We got three orders of the taco platter served with rice and beans. The rice and beans were served in small salsa type containers and had maybe two tablespoons of each. Containers were both mostly empty. To top it off, no salsa was included at all for the tacos. We also got two tortas. Both were small and had barely any meat in them. The bread was so thin that by the time I got home, it was falling apart from touching the tomato. It also barely had any lettuce on it and only a small avocado slice. The fries that came with the torta were half burnt. We paid $70 worth of food but quantity lacked. It was a huge dissapointment! Don’t be deceived by the pictures on this page. First time I try this please my Torta had foil paper inside the food almost ate it. Second time the guy that was touching the raw meat made my tacos. after giving them a third chance I gave my ticket to the guy serving for kitchen staff but he proceed to forget about my order and talk to the other members that was showing him something on his phone. I was on my lunch break so I was on a time limit it wasn’t busy so I stood up and mention I had to go. The guy that was on his phone showing everyone something got offended and said you can take your ticket back. Took a wrong exit and decided to stop for gas, saw they had a monday special and ordered because I was hungry. I got the chicken tacos with rice and beans. It was a simple transaction, they got my order out in a couple minutes and I went on my way.

The to-go plate had some good weight to it. The rice was fluffy and the refried beans were nice. I'm usually a green salsa fan, but their red salsa was the winner. They provided all the expected sides: cilantro, raw white onions, grilled onions, a red & green salsa, and a grilled jalapeno.
