World class pizza at very affordable pricing. Joey Fratello's offers the best pizzeria experience in Ohio, if not among the nation. It is my personal opinion that Joey Fratello's offers a superior NY style pizza to even NY pizzeria Lombardo's. The crust has just the right thickness and density, the sauce complements the pizza without being too sweet or overwhelming, the toppings are very generously laid on and of superb quality and freshness, and the authentic Italian cheeses - also of ample portion - are so smooth and delicious. The specialty pizzas range from very traditional to creative, and every one I've had offers a unique and robust flavor profile I often find myself craving. My personal favorites are the Sicilian Sausage & Peppers (a very hearty and filling pie covered in fine Italian sausage, ricotta cheese, and every variety of pepper you'd ever want on a pizza), the Greek - the combination of black and green olives blanketing the pie plays so well with the spinach and feta especially - and the Pizza Bianca; which is perfect when you want a light pizza with just the right amount of tangy garlic. The store is very accommodating to item substitutions, too, and the toppings on offer leave little to be desired (I'd never had a pizza with Capicola ham - my favorite deli meat - and it is phenomenal). In addition to uncompromisingly delicious and satisfying pizza, Joey Fratello's also offers fun and tasty appetizers and very carefully crafted subs with such well balanced ingredients and dressings on some of the best crusty bread I've ever sunk my teeth into. I haven't yet had the pastas or salads, but if the rest of the menu is any indication - they should be made with great care, top quality ingredients, and in generous portion. As far as the service - I've always found it very friendly, accommodating to changes, and expedient. The establishment is very clean and classy, too. I honestly couldn't recommend this place enough. 10/10 - best dining/delivery experience one could hope for. I couldn't tell you how many times I've eaten Joey Fratello's since moving to Findlay and the experience hasn't staled in the slightest. If you like clean, authentic, flavorful food with consistently perfect execution - you can't go wrong with...

Often it's the hole in the wall restaurants that make the best pizza and Joey Fratello's Pizzeria is no exception. From a preliminary glance, this place is kind of dump. It's crowded, pizza boxes and ingredients stacked everywhere, tables stuffed into every available open space and that sweet, familiar feeling that everything you touch has just a hint of grease on it.

Not sure this place would pass an FDA inspection but, at the same time, I hope they never come calling because the food is absolutely phenomenal.

I ordered your basic cheese/pepperoni pizza and while it took a while for it to be made, when it came I was overjoyed at what I was putting into my mouth. Seriously, some of the best pizza I've had in awhile.

On another note, the staff was incredibly nice and enjoyable. While our order was messed up (one of our pizzas wasn't delivered with the rest of the meal), no one could really be upset because our waiter was so nice.

In terms of prices, they're pretty competitive. Sure, you'll pay less ordering from Dominos, but for the quality of the food you're getting, this is far superior. Plus the portions are generous. I had four slices and left satisfied.

The ONLY downside was that drink refills aren't free. It's okay because I typically get water anyway, but anyone who wants a soda will have to pay for it by the can.

Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who's looking for a good pie in...

Joey's is easily the best pizza in Findlay, and most likely even Northwest Ohio.

Pizza's a really personal thing - everyone has their own tastes. If you're into medium thickness crust with the perfect balance of crunchiness and chewiness, sweet sauce full of fresh tomato flavor, and lightish cheese (like I am), you'll love this. I have a soft spot for Jac 'n Do's, but this is definitely the best pizza I've had in Findlay. The "Primo" is awesome - pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, green peppers and onions. More please. The cheeseless pizza Neapolitan is zen perfection - a half hour later, you can pick up a slice and it'll be straight as a rule, and crunch in your mouth. Add to that the incredibly friendly staff that really make you feel like you're at home, and you've got a winner.

I'd assumed by the glitzy logo and polished look that this was a chain, but this is a Findlay...

I have been here twice, both exactly a year apart. The first time I went I was not too impressed both with the atmosphere, taste, and service. The second time I went, my mind was completely changed. Our server was kind, attentive, and ready to help wherever she could. The food was pretty good. Pizza is hard to review because everyone has a personal preference, but overall it’s not a bad pie if you add pepperoni. I did not enjoy the plain pie. Surprisingly the calzone was the star of the show. I would have a slice or two of that again. Main reasons for the lack of 5 stars are the atmosphere (things are a little run down), the lack of pizza holders so you don’t have too much room, the cold red sauce, and the overall taste. Would recommend anything other than the cheese pizza.

Joey's has been a staple for us now since boyfriend moved to Findlay. Take out or dine it, we really enjoy the food. The pizzas I believe are the best in town. The dining spot is super casual with towers of pizza boxes around but I feel that adds to the charm. We like the salads and sides too, but the pizza is it. The dessert fridge hasn't ever disappointed either. Come here if you're looking for a quiet casual dining experience.
