I'm so happy to have a ramen shop in the area!! My wife and I stopped in for lunch today. We've been looking forward to this place opening for a while, now. I ordered the miso ramen with spicy seasoning added, and she ordered the tom yum with extra spice. I ordered the mango jasmine boba tea, and my wife ordered the pineapple oolong. I also got an order of gyoza.
First off - the kiosk is super convenient. I do wish there was an option to remove certain things from your order, but it's not a huge deal.
I really like the casual feel of the place, and the prices for a ramen shop are lower than I expected.
Now to the food and drink -
The gyoza was very good. Perfectly crispy and very flavorful. I'm not a sauce expert, but I would guess it's purchased and not made there. Still good, though.
My boba, the mango jasmine, was very good. It's a little on the sweeter side, so it's a good choice if that's what you want. My wife's boba, the pineapple oolong, was delightful. There are pineapple bits in it, in case that's an issue for you. I very much preferred the flavor of hers over my own. It's much less sweet than the mango, very bright and ever so slightly tart.
My ramen, the miso with spicy seasoning, was very tasty. I personally would have preferred a bit more miso flavor to the broth, but "strong broth" is an option you can choose when ordering. The egg was perfect, and the noodles were just slightly al dente so they don't go to mush as you eat, which was excellent. The chashu (pork) was very flavorful, although I did get a couple pieces that had a very slight burnt flavor to them, but not off-putting. I love the wood ear mushrooms they put in it as well. Overall, the miso ramen was very good. If you want a milder flavor and don't like much spice, this is an excellent choice. Just get strong broth if you really want that miso flavor.
My wife's ramen, the tom yum, was incredible. The broth was bright and spicy and so delicious. I didn't try them, but she said the shrimp were slightly overcooked but very very tasty. This one also had the lovely wood ear mushrooms. There were plenty of fish cakes in it as well, which were big and chewy and delicious. I will absolutely be ordering this bowl next time, as I felt a bit of food envy when I tried it.
To be perfectly honest, yes, I've had better ramen. But not for that price, and not just down the road. This place is very new, and I only see their food getting better as the staff gets more experience and they get more feedback from the community. We will absolutely be back!
Side note - the sesame seeds don't really fit through the holes in the shakers they have on the tables. I had to take the lid off to...
Read moreChains rarely evoke excitement. They’re safe, predictable—usually more about efficiency than soul. But this ramen spot, part of a growing chain, manages to deliver more than just a meal. You walk in, and the energy is undeniable. A handful of young workers, clearly fresh to the grind, greet you with an almost overzealous enthusiasm. They pepper their sentences with “sir” like it’s punctuation, their glee almost infectious. You can tell they’re still learning the ropes, but there’s an earnestness in their effort that makes the experience unexpectedly charming.
The ramen itself? Exactly what you want it to be. The broth is deep, balanced, and satisfying, the noodles springy and cooked just right. The portions hit that perfect sweet spot—generous without being wasteful—and the price feels like a win, especially when chains often err on the side of stinginess. On a warm day, it’s comfort in a bowl, simple as that. Their bubble tea is worth a mention too: sweet, creamy, and ice-cold, though I’d recommend watering it down a touch when you get home—it leans a bit heavy on the syrup. Still, for a chain, they nail the essentials. No frills, no pretense, just good...
Read moreMy husband and I, both in our late 20s, decided to try this ramen spot we’d been hearing buzz about, and it completely delivered. He ordered the gyu don beef bowl, I went for the spicy insane ramen—which was bold, flavorful, and perfectly spicy—and we split a strawberry oolong tea that was so light and refreshing, it balanced everything out beautifully. But honestly, what made the whole experience stand out was the young Asian boy with brown hair who took care of us. He was so helpful and warm, walking us through the menu like we were old friends, and recommending things that ended up being exactly what we didn’t know we needed. He and my husband ended up bonding over football, and by the time we left, it genuinely felt like they were long-lost best friends just catching up. I could tell my husband had a blast talking with him—he even turned to me afterward and said, “That guy’s going places.” And he’s right. Between the food, the vibe, and that kind of service, we’ll...
