I love lose leaf tea and learned a lot about the different kinds and what I like and don't like by shopping at Mimi's Tea. This place is a hidden gem in Fircrest, though I had breakfast many times at the place next door I had never gone into Mimi's until I received a gift certificate as a present from a good friend and fellow tea lover. My Fiancé and I went into Mimi's and had so much fun looking at tea's, smelling them, learning about them and walked away purchasing many ounces of tea for far less than we usually spent at Teavana. She has creamy tea's like cranberry creme and special Valentines day like teas (or all occasion if you're sweet) like strawberry specialties and we enjoyed all of them! She also made great suggestions on tea's that where a little more simple that we might want to avoid even though we thought the names where cool. Mimi is as other reviewers say incredibly charming like her shop and it feels like a bit of magic when you walk into the shop. Besides loose leaf tea she has french presses's that are more ideal for tea, kombucha making books and materials as well as many amazing pots all of which I wanted to take home with me. For a refined and special luxury like tea you deserve to bless yourself with a visit to Mimi's...

Citrus ... Cinnamon ... Vanilla ... Mint... This place is magic to all your senses. Wonderful smells, visually inviting, audibly pleasant and you'll want to touch and taste EVERYTHING! The minute you walk in you are made to feel like you've come to visit a Friend! The decor adds to the charm of the place and is as charming as the Owner. She greets you the second you Enter into this unassuming shop, she will answer any question you may have and within 2 seconds you can tell she is obviously very knowledgeable about everything Tea. The shop is small (no shopping carts here!)but has a Large Selection of Teas and Accessories . The price is more than reasonable and the quality superb. She will steep for you a cup of tea right then and there so be sure to have some! If you Love Tea this shop is a Must! You'll come back over and...

I no longer drink coffee and the idea of loose tea is fabulous to me! Mimi's Teas has a very large selection of herbal, green, black, chai teas, rooibos. Seasonals, too! Great selection tea cups with all your loose tea needs. Steepers, tea bags, and essentials. The owner is very knowledgeable, helpful in recommendations, and is also VERY supportive of fellow local business. She's passionate about people and very warm and welcoming! Great place for gifts, too. What I love about Mimi's Teas is that when I first went in, is the idea of being more environmentally conscientious...being able to spread the used loose tea AND the bag into my garden beds. No waste. I frequent the shop almost on the daily after work for a cup to go of whatever tea I wanna...
