While asking about the menu the cashier was rude. As if we were Out of line for being curious about what is spicy or what isn’t. We ordered $50+ for take out, no napkins no utensils. Usually that is a curtesy to a food order. I asked if the short ribs “pork” vs “bbq”🍖 ribs were spicy 🥵 as well which are the more tender of the two? She said the pork were softer and not spicy. I cannot eat them. Nor can my other half & h enjoys spice. He ordered the chicken sandwich while dry on a bun, we agree it’s stale. Aged after being cooked much earlier. Neither of us can chew it it’s edges are rock hard, not crispy. We will never eat her again. Maybe the soup is better. I won’t be back to find out.ill add a couple pics to google. Maybe she will treat future out of towners better after this review. As well serve quality as advertised. That is sadly what we did...

I can’t say that this was a good Korean place to go to especially when I was looking forward to Korean food. I ordered a “kimchi box” and it didn’t come with kimchi. If I wanted kimchi it was additional $2 which is no big deal but it was just the principle. And the kimchi was way overripe. It should have been thrown away weeks ago! The “kimchi box” entree was teriyaki chicken with too much sweet sauce and a little japche and green salad. If I was looking forward to a teriyaki chicken box I would have been a little happier. Husband had the chicken wings and they were good but pretty expensive for lunch in Tacoma. $23. Also, you get your own water and you have to bus your own table. I wish I would have known this before I...

I'm looking forward to returning and trying more of Kimchi Box's menu... My sons and I enjoyed our first visit very much. They have a nice variety on the menu, with items like bibimbop with different proteins, bento box type options, side dishes and duk bok ki - which is what I ate during this visit. The portion for my dish wasn't very big.. Even when I added ramen noodles (the noodles were about the size of a half pack of instant ramen). My sons had pork bento style and it was quite big... They're picky eaters and liked it a lot.

The counter woman was very nice and the stand, while small and simple, is very clean and inviting. Prices are very reasonable. A great break from your average...

My Tio Franky treated me on 5/29/24 after visiting my Mommy's grave which is Mountain View cemetery. The restaurant is located at the Center Street Plaza. The restaurant is not very big. Interior is clean. Tv screen available with Korean drama show running. The service is quick and efficient. We both ordered the short ribs which comes with rice, salad and japchae $18.00. We also ordered a side of japchae noodles $9.00 plus bulgogi $3.00 and a side of kimchi $2.00. I got hot tea. My Tio got coke. The food is flavorful and delicious!! The portions are generous. I definitely plan on returning when back in this area.
